Betrayed, Yet Bound To The Billionaire by Grace Madeline (Chapters 701 to 710)

Chapter 701

“As you said, if Hannah and Edie used the same method and the same drug to successfully get pregnant, marry into wealthy families, and secure their positions, they might have had some kind of agreement before.

“But they didn’t seem to be friendly before, more like enemies.

“If they really are enemies, it’s unusual that Edie would go to such lengths to marry Henry. Maybe it’s all an act, and they’re secretly trying to do something that we don’t know about,” Odalys analyzed softly.

She didn’t kill Edie and Hannah not because she couldn’t, but because she had a hunch that something wasn’t right about them.

No one would give up being a rich wife and desperately cause trouble.

The women who could marry into wealthy families were by no means empty-headed. As they said, there must be someone behind these two.

Percival didn’t say anything after she finished.

“Hannah had her eyes on me before, and after being rejected, they didn’t make another move,” Evander suddenly said.

Being targeted by them was definitely not a good thing.

But these two were not kind, and everything they did had an ulterior motive.

“Maybe they want to divert our attention, thinking they can mislead us and distract us from keeping an eye on the Simpson family. And they seem to be getting more restless after Windsor’s return.

“Windsor’s whereabouts are unknown, but the Bennetts don’t seem worried at all. It’s like Windsor isn’t their family,” Percival continued.

The Bennett family was in a difficult situation right now.

But instead of trying to find a solution, they were just waiting for something.
“Windsor will be back soon,” Odalys whispered.

If Windsor didn’t return within 48 hours, he would definitely die. So he would definitely be back.

“By the way, you’ve been keeping an eye on Sophia, trying to follow her lead to find the real maker of the Love Spell. Are you really trying to follow her lead, or are you bluffing?” Evander asked curiously.

Odalys had been keeping an eye on Sophia.

He vaguely felt that Odalys seemed to be tricking Sophia, and her true focus was not on Sophia.
“What do you think?” Odalys smiled without responding.

Evander looked at her for a long time, as if suddenly realizing something.

“Oh, Odalys.” Evander looked at her dotingly, then at Percival, and then he reached out and held their hands together.

Evander patted the back of their hands lightly and said, “I’m aged. You two have to take it from here.”
Their hands were pulled together by Evander, and Percival took the opportunity to hold Odalys’ hand. She struggled a little and found that Percival was holding her hand tightly, so she stopped struggling.

Evander got up and walked out, waving his hand casually, and said, “Go ahead and chat. I’ll go to the Tillery Villa. It’s been a long time since I last visited Oswald.”

He paused and said, “Come to think of it, it has been thirty years since I last visited him.”

It was not that they did not want to visit each other, but that they all restrained themselves from doing so as if they were dead to each other. No one knew why.

They were all just protecting themselves.

The people behind it were too powerful, and they had to be on guard.

“I’ll have Callum give you a ride,” Percival said.

Callum was waiting outside the door. He nodded toward the room and said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Stewart. Odalys has instructed me to stay by Evander’s side at all times during this period.” “Okay,” Percival replied.

The bedroom was once again in silence after Evander left.

Percival still held her hand tightly and refused to let go. Odalys raised an eyebrow and glanced at his hand. “How long do you plan on holding on? He left.”

Percival didn’t feel embarrassed at her words.

On the contrary, he held on even tighter, as if trying to meld her into his body.

“Evander left, but I want to hold your hand. It has nothing to do with him,” Percival said in a serious tone.
Odalys was dumbfounded. She stared at him in astonishment for a moment before bursting into laughter.

She shook off his large hand and stretched lazily. “Isn’t your man keeping an eye on Edie?”

“Yes,” Percival replied.

She got up and walked to the French window. Standing there, she looked thoughtfully at the big tree and murmured, “So, was the one pregnant back then Edie?”

There was no answer to this question.

She had seen Edie’s face and knew that Edie did have a son.

But the virtual line on her body pointed to Percival, so she knew from the very beginning that Edie and Percival might be related, but perhaps she was not his biological mother.

The family line couldn’t be faked. No matter how distant they were, it couldn’t be weak like this.

Unless…

Thinking of this, Odalys narrowed her attractive eyes and said, “What kind of game is your father playing, using his life to tempt you to clean up his mess?”

Percival came up behind her, silent.

Neither of them spoke again. Time passed minute by minute.

Odalys suddenly said, “Don’t you want to go on a date? We didn’t have the date we missed that night. I’ll treat you this time.”

Percival’s face lit up with joy when he heard her say “date,” but when she continued with “I’ll treat you,” he couldn’t help but frown in confusion. ” Can you even treat someone on a date?” he asked.

“Yeah, that’s why I’m asking you out. Are you coming or not?” Odalys teased.

Seeing her leave, Percival hurried after her. “I’m definitely coming,” he said.

Odalys’ smile widened, hearing Percival’s anxious voice behind her. She quickened her pace, Percival hot on her heels. After they went downstairs, Odalys grabbed the car keys from the side.

She got into the driver’s seat, Percival in the passenger seat.

Only after the two drove away did Freya cautiously poke her head out. Selah, a little nervously, asked, “Are they going on a date?”

“Yeah, I just heard them.” Freya wrung her hands anxiously.

It seemed Percival was finally getting the hint.

Stellan checked the time on his phone and said, ” It’s only 3:30 in the afternoon. Are you sure this is a good time for a date?”

“Why can’t they go on a date in the daytime? They’re not going to have sex. Daytime is fine; it’s safer for girls,” Freya immediately retorted. Selah also nodded.

“Do you think it is dangerous for Odalys to go out at night?” Francis interjected.

Freya’s lips moved, wanting to retort, but she couldn’t say anything.

“Now the trending topic has been withdrawn, and Hannah didn’t say anything. We’re safe, right?” Selah asked worriedly.

After the fight last night, the incident became a trending topic, which made them afraid to go
out.

It didn’t matter for ordinary people to fight, but it was a big deal for celebrities to fight. It had a bad influence. In addition, reporters had been chasing after them for interviews, and they couldn’t stand it.

They could only ignore it.

Chapter 702

“The trending topic has indeed been withdrawn, and I just found out that the reporters who were following us are gone,” Stellan said.

Freya immediately straightened her back as she heard that.

“Then shall we leave too? Evander has gone out. Percival and Odalys have also gone on a date. It is not appropriate for us to stay here,” Freya said. The Stewart family had too many secrets. Being here alone made them feel uneasy.
“Okay, let’s go,” Francis replied.

After they got into Stellan’s car, they drove away. Although the sun was shining brightly outside, Selah felt a chill. Rubbing her arms, she said, ” Why do I feel so cold? Is it suddenly getting cold again?”

“Something’s wrong. It’s only 59°F, not so cold,” Freya said.

As soon as she finished speaking, Stellan slammed on the brakes with a screech. The force of the stop nearly threw everyone out of their seats. They quickly grabbed the nearest handholds and looked up ahead.

They saw a figure standing in the middle of the road, head down.
“Who is that?” Selah asked instinctively.

She was about to get out of the car when Francis grabbed her arm and said, “There’s something wrong with this guy. Don’t get out of the car.”

“Something’s wrong with him,” Stellan agreed. They felt inexplicably uneasy. The feeling of unease grew stronger as they left Stewart Villa. “By the way, did you take the talismans that Odalys drew for you?” Freya suddenly remembered.

Hearing this, they immediately took out their talismans and put them in their pockets.

“Holy crap, what the hell? Why is it pitch black all around?” Francis swore.

The others finished securing their talismans and looked up at Francis’s words. They were met with darkness, a stark contrast to the bright sun they had left moments ago.

Fear gripped them, their eyes fixed on the road ahead.

The figure stood motionless in the middle of the road, its head down as if deep in thought.

“It doesn’t look like a human. What kind of person stands so straight and still?” Freya remarked.

Selah clung to her arm, her body shrinking toward Freya.

Francis and Stellan didn’t say anything. They took out their phones, hoping to message Odalys, only to find they had no signal. In unison, they turned to look at each other.

“There’s no signal,” Stellan said.

They hurriedly took out their phones and found that there was indeed no signal at all.

It was very quiet in the car. They could faintly hear the wind outside, blowing so hard that it seemed to want to disturb them. They kept swallowing.

They kind of regretted leaving the Stewart family. They thought if they hadn’t come out, they would have been fine.
“There’s no signal on our phones, and there’s someone blocking the road ahead. He’s trying to keep us here. Do you think we’ve really met a ghost? Or is something after us again?” “Do we have some kind of ghost-attracting physique? Why do we always encounter this kind of thing?” Freya said with a wry smile.

She didn’t believe in ghosts before, but after meeting Odalys, she did.

“What should we do? We can’t wait for Odalys to solve everything for us, right? We’ve been with her for a while now. Why don’t we try to think of a way?” Freya said.

Now that they were trapped here, they didn’t know what was going on.

But the longer they stayed, the worse it would get.

“But what should we do? We don’t have holy water or anything,” Selah said.

Freya and Stellan fell silent, looking at the talismans in their hands. “Our talismans, when combined before, could help Francis withstand attacks. So, if we combine our talismans this time, maybe it can also help us escape,” Freya said.
As soon as her words fell, the others immediately took out their talismans.

They looked at each other, pushed the car doors open, and got out. They found that it was eerily strange outside, as if they had entered another world. And as they got out of the car, the person standing in the middle of the road suddenly looked up.

They saw blood oozing from the person’s face, flowing from his eye sockets and the corners of his mouth. He came toward them with great difficulty, taking long strides.

“Stay back,” Freya snapped.

As she took out her talisman, the others immediately took out theirs and handed them over. When the four talismans were put together, a miracle happened.

The ordinary talisman suddenly emitted a golden light, which wrapped around their hands like a thread, refracting into the air and forming a complicated formation above their heads.

The formation let out a loud noise. The powerful energy forced them to subconsciously take a step back.
The person who had just approached was hit by

the golden light; his body was blown 3 inches away, and with a “bang”, he shattered, and the surrounding mist dissipated.
Instantly, silence fell over the area, followed by bright sunlight that scattered the previous darkness.

The group stood rooted to the spot, dumbfounded. They looked down at the talismans in their hands and found that they had burned to ashes, scattered by the wind.

“The talismans Odalys gave us were actually protective talismans, and the four could be combined into one with such great power!” Freya exclaimed in shock.

They thought it was to protect themselves, but unexpectedly, as long as they worked together, these talismans could unleash a powerful force.

“Yes, she didn’t tell us. I didn’t expect this talisman to be so powerful.” Selah was also frightened.
It was just a try, but it shocked everyone once again.

“She wanted us to be united. If any of us had ulterior motives or were too selfish to take it out, maybe something would have happened to us just now.”

“These talismans should be powerful when combined. When separated, it may be just an ordinary amulet,” Stellan explained.
Francis fell into deep thought.

“Why did that just happen? Who was standing in the middle of the road?” Francis asked.

There was clearly no answer to this question.

Selah stood there, her face turning gloomier.

“Selah, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?” Freya asked hurriedly.

Selah looked around and said, “My phone still has no signal. Look around. It’s very familiar, but it seems different.”
“This road should be very busy, but now there are no cars driving by, and no one passing by, as if we are the only four people in the world,” Selah said.

As she said that, everyone subconsciously looked up.

They found that the surroundings were empty; not only were there no cars on the road, but there was not even a single pedestrian.

Stellan panicked and hurriedly drove toward the city. The people in the car also hurriedly looked out the windows and found that the road was empty, and the tall buildings were all silent.

“Damn it, what’s going on? Are we trapped in some kind of space?” Freya murmured.

No one was entering those tall buildings.

Chapter 703

The car stopped in front of the shopping mall. They hurriedly got out and walked in. They found that there was no one shopping in the mall, and the shops were empty. Except for the goods, there was no one in sight.

“It’s normal that there are no cars or pedestrians on the road, but it’s not right that there is no one shopping in the mall and all the stores are unattended,” Stellan said.

That was what was on everyone’s mind.

“Why do I feel like we’ve entered an illusory world?” Francis said.

Confused, everyone looked at him.

Francis pointed to the front and said, “Look over there.”

Everyone followed his finger and looked over. They saw a familiar figure flashing not far away, seeming to be anxiously searching for something.

“Why does this person look familiar?” Freya said. Selah also nodded in agreement and said, “Yes, why does he look like Windsor?”

“It seems like it is him. That day, after he escaped from Francis’ room, he disappeared. I didn’t expect him to be here,” Stellan nodded and said.

He didn’t expect to meet Windsor in a place like this.

“Hurry up, follow him.” Freya’s expression suddenly became serious.

She knew that Windsor had been missing, and Odalys had said that after 48 hours, the thing that had possessed his body would return to him.

If Windsor didn’t return within 48 hours, he would surely die.

Just when everyone thought Windsor must have gone home to wait for death, he disappeared.

He had been missing for almost two days, and no one had expected that he would appear here. ‘What is he doing here? Is this place an illusion? What’s going on?’ Everyone was thinking about these questions, and they instantly followed.
Half an hour ago, Odalys was driving, bringing Percival to the cinema. Today, she had booked the entire cinema, and everything that Percival had arranged last night remained untouched. “How is it? Do you like it, Mr. Stewart?” Odalys asked, turning her head to look at him with a smile.

She smiled with her eyes curving. The joy in her eyes was obvious. She was really happy. Looking at her smiling face, Percival couldn’t help but be moved. He reached out and touched her head, his voice becoming a little hoarse as he said, “I like it.”

Hearing Percival say he liked it, Odalys laughed out loud.

She was dashing and cool. She took Percival’s hand without coyness and said, “Let’s go watch a movie first.”

Percival was pulled by her hand as they walked into the cinema. Their footsteps echoed in the corridor, like a constant drumbeat against their hearts.

She opened the door to the cinema and walked in first.

Percival sat down in the middle with her, shoulder to shoulder. As soon as the movie started, Percival felt something was wrong. He suddenly turned his head and met Orson’s dark eyes.

“Why are you here?” Percival frowned.

He didn’t expect that Orson was here.

Orson, with his arms crossed in front of his chest, sat back. He glanced at Percival and then raised his chin to look at Odalys. He said, ” Odalys asked me to come.”

Percival listened as he turned to look at Odalys.

She reached out and pressed his shoulder, but her eyes were clear.

“You should know that someone has been following us,” Odalys said.

Hearing her say that, Percival calmed down.

Indeed, someone had been following them all the way. He wanted his men to get rid of them, but they were watching too closely. After thinking for a moment, he told his people to stay put and keep an eye on them without starting them.

He didn’t tell Odalys, but he didn’t expect her to know all along.

“I said that if Windsor doesn’t come back within 48 hours, he might die. He doesn’t have much time left,” Odalys said.
She didn’t have any feelings for Windsor. She even had no impression of him at all.

Percival’s expression turned serious when she got down to business.

He was not the jealous type, nor would he be angered by Orson’s appearance interrupting their date. Seeing Orson’s expression, he vaguely figured that Odalys must have made arrangements.

“Are you suspecting that Windsor and my father have been in contact with each other all along, including his going abroad and my father’s accident, all of which were planned by them?” Percival suddenly asked.

Odalys nodded.

“I was suspicious since we found out there was someone on him outside the Simpson Villa after Windsor returned to the country. I felt that he wasn’t simple.”

“Windsor hasn’t been competitive since he returned to the country, and he is even indifferent to the affairs of the Bennett brothers.

Moreover, Sophia seems to be taking his luck, but she has been hurt all the time.

“His goal seems to have always been to keep Sophia by his side, even at the cost of divorcing Hannah,” Odalys said.

Orson sat in the back, craning his neck to listen to their conversation, curiosity piqued.

“Odalys, are you suspecting that Windsor and Hannah are not on the same side?” Orson suddenly asked.

Odalys shook her head and said, “I do feel that way.”

“What do you want to do?” Percival asked calmly. Since Odalys had booked the entire place and even called Orson over, she must have had a plan.

“Open the time tunnel again. I want to see what Windsor is up to,” Odalys said.

Orson and Percival were both stunned, looking at her in disbelief, and asked in unison, “You mean Windsor is in the time tunnel during his recent disappearance?”

“What else could it be? He disappears when he shakes off what possesses him. The only explanation is that he’s rushing to deal with some unknown business after getting rid of it.

“Things that are unknown and can not be disclosed. Such secret things are like your father’s accident,” Odalys said.
Percival seemed to have figured out something.

Odalys didn’t say much. She raised her hand and flicked it lightly. The entire cinema hall was instantly lit up. A huge change had taken place all around, as if a net was forcibly tearing the surroundings apart.

“Orson, take this talisman and guard this place for me. If anyone forces their way in, burn this talisman. Don’t let anyone in,” Odalys said.

As she spoke, she seemed to think of something.

She took something out of her canvas bag and tossed it to Orson.

“Take care of it for me,” Odalys said.

The snake was still sleeping. When she flung it hard, it landed on Orson’s arm and opened its eyes abruptly, its drowsiness gone. It looked up at Odalys.

“Guard this place for me. If anyone dares to enter, bite them to death,” Odalys said.

As the snake listened, its eyes instantly lit up.

Chapter 704

Orson vaguely saw the snake’s eyes gleaming, as if biting someone to death was a fun thing to do. The sight sent chills down his spine, and he silently pulled the snake off his arm.

The snake flew to a chair nearby, coiled itself up, and stared at him.

“Don’t worry, Odalys,” Orson said.

His voice was soft. As he locked eyes with the snake, he was kind of afraid.

“Please,” Odalys said.

She turned and reached out together with Percival. They ripped through the air in front of them at a certain spot with great force. Suddenly, a gash was torn open by the two where nothing existed.

Before Orson could react, Percival and Odalys vanished.

“Damn it,” Orson exclaimed in shock.

He strode forward and reached out to touch the spot where they had disappeared, but found nothing. All he felt was air.
Orson felt a sharp pain in his backside. He groaned, turning to see the snake’s tail whipping toward him. Orson felt a little creeped out.

He hadn’t expected the snake to be so strong. It kept wagging its tail, signaling him to move.

Orson then realized that he seemed to be blocking its view, so he hurried to the side and saw the snake sitting upright with its head raised, staring at the screen as if watching a movie.

“What the hell? Even snakes can understand movies these days,” Orson said.

It was then that he realized that the movie playing today was Legend of the White Snake. Orson was a little bit amused. He felt like this movie was specially prepared for this little snake. He stared at the screen while rubbing his chin,
but couldn’t get into it at all.

At this moment, his phone vibrated.

Looking at the unknown number, Orson was silent for a while before answering the call.

“As the heir of the Lark family, are you willing to be Percival’s stooge?” The person on the other end went straight to the point, Orson’s hand froze, staring at the screen in disbelief.

The number was shown as a “vacant number”.

“Who are you?” Orson asked.

The other party obviously didn’t want to tell him, so he continued, “With the power of the Lark family, you don’t need to work for the Stewart family at all. You can completely start your own force.

“The Stewart family will be finished soon. Do you really want the Lark family to be destroyed with them? The situation is very unfavorable for the Stewart family now. Percival has been investigating the Simpson family, but he hasn’t found anything, has he?

“Percival is beyond saving. No matter how good Odalys’ medical skills are, he won’t live past this month,” The other party continued to tempt him. Orson’s heart sank.

It had been a long time since Percival suffered from his illness. Orson felt a little strange when he heard others talking about Percival’s illness. Recently, he had the illusion that Percival’s illness had improved, so he no longer worried about these things. When it was mentioned, he couldn’t help but worry about him.

“Who the hell are you? Why should I listen to you?” Orson said.

The other party didn’t say anything and just hung up the phone.

Orson wanted to check where his IP was, but the other party was a “vacant number,” and he couldn’t find the IP address at all.

Orson clenched his phone, only to find that the snake had turned its head to stare at him, its tongue flicking in and out. It seemed as if it would lunge at him and bite him in the next second.

“Don’t stare at me like that. I didn’t agree to it.” Orson was so scared that cold sweat streamed down his face.

He was indeed afraid. He had seen that giant python in the village before and knew how terrifying it was. This little snake was the son of that giant python, and even though it was small, its power was definitely not to be underestimated.

If it bit him, maybe he wouldn’t even have a chance to be rescued and would go straight to Hell.

“Stop it. Don’t look at me. Look at the movie. I’ll keep an eye on the outside.” Orson quickly raised his hands.
Vaguely hearing a snort, Orson thought he had heard wrong. The snake snorted in disdain.

Orson was a little startled. When he looked back, he found the snake staring at the movie screen, not at him.
Orson clenched the talisman in his hand, his palm full of sweat.

At this moment, his cell phone vibrated.

Orson glanced at the screen and asked with some puzzlement, “Clarence, what happened?” “Go back? Now? I can’t leave right now,” Orson said.

And the sound came from not far away.

Orson stood up in disbelief and walked toward the entrance of the cinema. He saw Clarence standing in the corridor, holding his phone tightly and staring at him.

“There are so many things to deal with. What are you doing at the cinema? Get back!” Clarence roared angrily.

Orson stood in the cinema and glanced sideways at Clarence.

“Clarence, why don’t you come in and have a look?” Orson said.

Clarence just stood there coldly in the distance. He intended to come over, but as if thinking of something, he put on airs and said, “Orson, are you still the heir of the Lark family?

“You don’t take our Lark family seriously at all now, do you? Is the Stewart family’s business that important? What are you doing with Percival? Didn’t I tell you to put the Lark family first?” Clarence continued.
Orson’s face grew gloomier as he listened.

He stepped back, his smile widening.

“Since you’re here to see me, why don’t you take a step forward? Are you afraid to come forward, or are you a fake?” Orson chuckled.

As soon as his words ended, a shadow whooshed out of the cinema.

Before Orson could see clearly, the snake charged at him.

The little snake opened its mouth wide and flew toward Clarence, biting his cheek. Clarence groaned and grabbed the snake’s body in pain, but the snake was so slippery that he couldn’t hold it, and it slipped away from his hand. “Oh, my face,” Clarence screamed.

He felt a piece of flesh being bitten off his face, blood running down his hands. When he raised

his hand again, he found that he couldn’t stand still and fell to the ground.

The appearance of Clarence disappeared and turned into Atlas.

“It really is an illusion. I was wondering why my grandfather suddenly changed his attitude. So it was you.” Orson chuckled hoarsely.

Seeing Atlas lying on the ground covered in blood, Orson did not step forward.

He didn’t go out and didn’t leave the cinema for a step. He felt that Atlas couldn’t seem to get in, and he also thought of the magic zone Odalys had set up when she left. It seemed that this place was for defense.

“Why am I here? Where is this?” Atlas said in a daze.

He looked at Orson, then at the snake that fell to the ground. Atlas scrambled up in a panic, glanced around, and whispered, “Wasn’t I sleeping at home?”

“Why am I suddenly in the cinema? Orson, what have you done to me?” Atlas roared.

Orson touched the tip of his nose, pointed at Atlas’ face, and said, “If you don’t treat your face,
you will be disfigured.”

Atlas touched his face and grunted in pain.

He hurriedly got up from the ground and stared at Orson. He got up and was about to leave; his body seemed to be frozen, and he was forcibly turned around.

Chapter 705

Orson looked at Atlas, who looked completely different from just now.

“Caspian and Atlas are possessed by a soul that does not belong to them. It was beaten out of Windsor. They may be controlled by this thing. “Once controlled, their words and deeds are not of their will. Don’t be fooled, or you will die miserably.”

Odalys’ voice echoed in Orson’s ears.

This message was sent to him by Odalys before he rushed to the cinema.

He knew Windsor was possessed by something, and he knew they were driven into Caspian and Atlas. But now he was here alone, facing this thing. He really panicked.

But what he didn’t expect was that Atlas had just turned into his grandfather and wanted to entice him out.

It was conceivable that the thing that possessed him was somewhat powerful, but he didn’t know anything, so naturally he didn’t dare to take risks. Thinking of this, he quickly reached out and pulled the snake back.

With a whoosh, the snake was caught back by him, twisting its body unhappily.

Orson tossed it over his shoulder, pointed at Atlas and said, “Stop bothering me. It’s none of your business that I’m watching a movie here. Get out of here.”

But Atlas just stared at him and then gave a weird smile.

“That depends on whether you can make me go,” Atlas said.

He lifted his foot and walked forward firmly. With every step he took, his body felt like being hit. He groaned and continued to walk forward. His body was instantly covered in blood, but he didn’t seem to feel any pain.

Orson was a little surprised.

No wonder when Atlas pretended to be Clarence just now, he didn’t dare to approach easily. With every step closer, more wounds appeared on his body.

“Fine, come in if you dare.” A sinister light flashed in Orson’s eyes.

Apparently, Odalys knew someone would break in, so she left him a way out. He looked at the talisman in his hand but didn’t dare to use it casually.

He was more worried that someone would be behind Atlas.

So he stepped back half a step and said to the snake, “Don’t mess around. I can’t afford it if you get hurt.”

The snake stuck out its head and kept flicking out its tongue. After being warned by Orson, it became obedient.
It silently slid down Orson’s body and hid behind the door.

As Orson backed away, the little snake suddenly crawled over and wrapped itself around Atlas’ ankle. Atlas’ foot was entangled and he couldn’t move. He looked down.

Just as he was about to kick the snake away, the snake suddenly swung its tail hard.

With a “bang”, Atlas was thrown out by the snake.

Atlas fell to the ground, his head instantly breaking and bleeding. He struggled on the ground for a long time before getting up. His eyes were clear, and he said in a daze, “What happened to me?”

“Blood. My face is covered in blood. It hurts so much,” Atlas groaned.

He got up in pain and found that not only his face was injured, but his whole body was covered in wounds, and blood was constantly oozing out.

“What’s going on? Orson, did you kidnap me?” Atlas said angrily.

Orson stared at him. It was clear from his eyes that he wanted to kill Atlas.

He hadn’t killed anyone in a long time, but he didn’t bother to kill such a stupid person.

Before Atlas could say anything else, Orson strode out and kicked him into the air.

Atlas was kicked away and his head hit the table beside him.

The moment he fell, Orson grabbed the snake in his hand, and with a “bang”, he locked the door of the cinema.

Atlas was kicked away by him for no reason and he gritted his teeth in anger, but the Bennett family couldn’t afford to offend the Lark family now, let alone Orson. He was really furious. “Orson, you’re going too far,” Atlas groaned. When he got up, he saw a figure standing not far away.

Atlas stepped forward, puzzled. He saw Sophia standing there. She slowly turned her head.

“Sophia, why are you here too? Did Orson ask you to come? What’s your relationship with him?” Atlas looked at her smiling face and stepped back in fear.

Ever since he discovered that she could tear open his chest with her bare hands and take his heart’s blood, Atlas had been traumatized.

His sister, who grew up adored by him, was more frightening than the devil, so naturally he was scared.

“Atlas, why are you so scared? I saw you come in, so I followed you in to see what you were doing. I didn’t expect Orson would treat you like this,” Sophia said softly.

Her fingers were still wrapped in gauze, and blood was still oozing out.

Her ten fingers were completely useless. She didn’t dare to move them now, and she could still feel the faint pain in her fingertips.

“You followed me? Sophia, are you shameless? What, are you trying to mess with me now? Don’t forget that you can’t use your hands.” Atlas sneered.

Looking at her fingers, he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

Sophia’s hands were injured, which meant that she couldn’t tear herself apart, so she was no longer a threat.

“It seems like you have misunderstood me, Atlas. The family is in a mess now. Caspian’s leg was broken by Odalys and he was sent to the police station. And no one knows where Henry is.

“Now, I’m afraid no one can help us,” Sophia said.

Atlas stared at her vigilantly.

Some pictures kept flashing in his mind. He remembered that he seemed to be at home and smelled bursts of floral fragrance; then he uncontrollably wanted to go out, and then he appeared here.

‘Yes, why am I here?’ he thought.

Atlas was startled, and when he saw Sophia’s smiling face, he couldn’t help but shiver.

“It was you, wasn’t it? You drugged me and led me here to find trouble with Orson, didn’t you?” Atlas’ mind suddenly seemed to clear.

His face and body ached terribly, and blood oozed from his wounds.

But at this moment, he didn’t care about the pain. He just stared at Sophia in fear and then quickly took out his cell phone. He called Henry and said, “Henry, you have to watch out for Sophia. She knows how to drug people.

“She wants to kill me now. If I die today, it’s this bitch who did it. She’s right in front of me now, and she wants to kill me,” Atlas said excitedly. Sophia’s smile froze on her face.

She didn’t expect Atlas to call suddenly, nor did she expect him to say that.
Atlas also recorded a video and posted it on Twitter. It was too late for her to stop it.
“Atlas, you are courting death.” Sophia was furious.

She didn’t expect him to hate her so much.

“That’s okay. I’m not afraid of you. A bitch like you doesn’t deserve to be my sister. I really regret treating you as my sister, which has led to the current situation.

“I’m sorry for what I did to Odalys in the past. I didn’t treat her well. I don’t get to say anything about it, but even if I die, I’ll take you with me. You’re the one who screwed us.” As Atlas spoke, he suddenly rushed forward.

Chapter 706

Sophia was tackled by him. The two fell heavily to the ground.

Atlas’ eyes widened in pain as he felt something pierce his abdomen. He looked down in disbelief and saw a sharp knife protruding from his belly. “Then go to hell.” Sophia smiled wickedly. With that, she stabbed Atlas again.

As Atlas lay on the ground, he watched her get up. He instinctively reached out to grab her leg, but Sophia didn’t even look at him as she stomped on his hand.

With a crack, Atlas’s wrist was broken.

Atlas lay on the ground in agony, unwilling to give up. He tried to call for help, but the pain was too intense for him to speak.

Sophia ignored him and walked toward the hallway.

As she reached the middle of the hallway, she felt a chill running down her spine. The air felt heavy and oppressive.
“What is this?” Sophia frowned.

It felt like every step she took, her body was being crushed by an invisible force, leaving her gasping for air.

‘Atlas entered without any issues, so why do I feel like my body is being torn apart when I step inside?’ she thought. After taking a few steps, Sophia fell to the ground.

Her eyes widened. She felt like something had been drained from her body.

Before she could react, she lost consciousness.

“How could this be?” Sophia murmured in disbelief.

It all happened so fast that she was caught off guard. The moment she fell, Henry rushed over. His men seized her, tied her up, and dragged her away. Meanwhile, they sent Atlas to the hospital.

He stood inside the cinema, staring thoughtfully in the direction of the hall.

“Mr. Bennett,” A bodyguard stepped forward and addressed him.

Henry shook his head and said, “It’s fine. Let’s go.” After the bodyguard and Henry left, the elevator door was open, revealing an empty cabin. No one had entered, yet the air in the entire cinema seemed to have frozen.

Hiding in the cinema hall, Orson listened intently to the sounds outside, his heart racing inexplicably.

“Damn it, I’m usually brave and fearless, but today I’m actually a little scared.” Orson couldn’t help but curse at himself.

Footsteps approached from outside. Orson was a bit scared when he heard that. The moment he opened the door, he found the hallway empty, except for footprints on the ground.

The footprints were coming toward him. Orson’s

pupils constricted; the hallway was empty, yet there were footprints.

His mind went blank for a few seconds, and he quickly locked the door again.

He moved a chair over, but the cinema hall was too big and empty. Except for him and the snake, there was nothing. The dim lights dimmed further.

His cold sweat was dripping down his cheeks. Orson found it hard to breathe.

“Don’t be afraid. There’s nothing to be afraid of,” Orson muttered to himself, taking out a silver needle and jabbing it hard into his thigh.

The pain in his leg brought him back to his senses.

Orson stood there and subconsciously stuffed the little snake into his pocket.

“No matter what happens, don’t come out. If something happens to you, Odalys will kill me.” Orson flicked the snake’s head, warning. Unexpectedly, as soon as he finished speaking, he vaguely heard the snake snoring, clearly asleep.

It fell asleep soundly in his pocket.

Orson was amused and exasperated. He quickly hung the talisman around his neck, as if afraid of losing it.
There was a knock at the door.

Sophia’s voice came again. She whispered, ” Orson, can you open the door? Let’s talk.”

“Huh?” Orson was stunned.

He remembered Henry coming over and taking her away. How could Sophia be here? Moreover, there were only footprints in the corridor just now, no figure.

Orson swallowed, but he didn’t speak.

“I’ve always liked you, and I want to mate with you and have a child of ours,” Sophia continued. Orson froze when he heard her say, “I want to mate with you.”

‘A human would never put it like that. Would a woman say such a thing? And that’s to me. I barely know Sophia. How could she say she always wanted to mate with me?

Even the snake, which had been sound asleep, seemed to wake up at her words.

“Come on, let’s mate! Let’s have a relationship. I’ Il be good to you, I promise. I’m the heiress of the Bennett family, after all, and a famous actress.

“Percival just got lucky marrying Odalys, but we’ re different. We’re meant to be together. I wanted to confess my feelings when I first saw you.

“If we get married, my good fortune will bless you. The Lark family won’t have to grovel to the Stewarts anymore.” Sophia continued her efforts to tempt him.

Orson felt sick when he heard that.

“Let’s have a baby tonight, shall we? I’m ready,” Sophia said.

The images of the operating room kept flashing through Orson’s mind. Odalys had shown him Sophia’s true colors.
He felt sick looking at that aged face physically. The knocking on the door continued.

He could faintly hear Sophia’s voice. Orson pressed his lips together, regretting not asking Callum to come over.
“If you don’t open the door, I’m breaking in,” Sophia said.

Before Orson could react, he heard a bang. The door was kicked open, and there stood Sophia in a sexy camisole.

Her hair cascaded down her back as she stood there, giving Orson a seductive look.

“Is this real or fake?” Orson thought to himself. Sophia’s arm was already on his shoulder. Orson tried to shake her off, but he found himself utterly drained of energy. He fell heavily to the ground.

Sophia stood before him, a coy smile on her face. The next moment, she was leaning down toward him.

“No,” Orson kept shouting, fear flickering in his eyes.

The snake poked its head over, stared at Sophia for a moment, then suddenly, as if startled, it leaped three meters high, straight to the ceiling.

Orson felt his body being drained, like a ghost was pressing down on him out of nowhere.

“What’s going on?” Orson wanted to speak but found he couldn’t make a sound.

He couldn’t move a muscle, and could only watch Sophia with wide eyes.

“I thought Odalys had left some big trick here, but I didn’t expect her to just leave you a useless snake. But don’t worry, after we have sex, I’ll marry you and everything will be fine,” Sophia said.

Orson’s lips moved.

He saw her reach out and rip the talisman around his neck off to throw it aside.

Orson didn’t expect the talisman to be thrown away by her so easily. He thought the talisman could hold Sophia back. It turned out that it wasn’t what he thought. His lips moved.

Chapter 707

His mind went blank. For a moment, he regretted it.

It felt like Odalys had lied to him. The talisman was useless. Sophia could enter the cinema freely, proving that everything was fake.

Orson lay on the ground, struggling painfully, but it was all in vain. Everything seemed to be beyond his control.

“Don’t be afraid. It’ll be alright in a minute,” Sophia whispered.

Orson’s eyes were fixed on the talisman she had thrown away. He had pinned all his hopes on it. At this moment, Orson calmed down.

He felt that everything was too strange. ‘Why can Sophia come in safely? Atlas was covered in injuries when he came in. Is it an illusion now? Does someone want to scare me and lead me away?’ he thought.

If he left the cinema, no one would be guarding it, and Odalys and Percival would be in danger. Thinking of this, Orson instantly calmed down. He stared straight at Sophia and suddenly laughed. “I can’t move from here. It’s so boring.”

Sophia listened, looking at him with joy, but there was still some doubt in her eyes.
Obviously, she didn’t believe him either.

Orson lay there, resuming his usual playful demeanor. His beautiful eyes were smiling. “Do you know how rich guys play?

“The first time has to be exciting, don’t you think? Something like bondage and candle wax.” As Orson spoke, he glanced at her.

Hearing this, Sophia suddenly relaxed her guard.

At this moment, Odalys and Percival tore through the Time Tunnel and entered a quiet place once again. The place was dead silent, devoid of any life.

“We have to find your father within an hour. Windsor might be inside,” Odalys said.

Windsor had been missing, and he might be hiding in there.

“What if we can’t find him?” Percival asked. It wasn’t that he lacked confidence, but it was just too strange inside. Last time, they kept going in circles and couldn’t get out. If they kept going in circles this time, what should they do? “If we can’t find him, that’s what he deserves,” Odalys said.

Although Windsor asked Henry to give her a message last time, it didn’t mean that she had any feelings for him. Her childhood memories were too vague, and she had never been in contact with him since she returned to the Bennett family.

Windsor was like a stranger to her.

If he wasn’t involved with Percival’s father, she wouldn’t have cared about him.

Not to mention Windsor, even every single person in the Bennett family didn’t deserve her time and energy. They all treated her badly.

And she was a vengeful person, so of course she couldn’t forget these things.
Also, she would definitely take revenge on them for her death in her previous life.

“But I did something to him last time. I lit this incense. We should be able to pinpoint his location by following the direction the incense is drifting in,” Odalys said.

Like magic, she pulled out an incense from her canvas bag and lit it.

The incense was thin and long, and after being lit, it seemed to be burning quickly.

The two of them followed the direction the incense was drifting in, and after walking in a circle, they found themselves back where they started. They stared at the incense in confusion for a while.

“There’s a wall behind us. Could it be back there?” Percival glanced around.

He was always calm and collected, never panicking in the face of trouble.

After this happened, he became even calmer.

“If we’re not fast enough, I’m worried that something will happen to Orson. He’s never encountered anything like this before, and it’ll be troublesome if something happens,” Percival said.

So they didn’t have much time to waste and needed to handle every step calmly.

Odalys followed his gaze and found that there was indeed a wall behind them.

It was just that the wall was engraved with some strange patterns. Odalys leaned in for a closer look and waved to him in surprise. “Percival, come here.”

“What?” Percival followed her, puzzled.

She pointed her slender finger at the wall. ” Haven’t we seen this pattern somewhere before?”
It looked very familiar, but she couldn’t quite recall it.

Her mind felt overworked lately. She felt like her brain wasn’t functioning properly.

Percival followed her gaze to the wall, a complex look in his eyes. “I saw it in that piece of ancient emerald that the Tillery family gave us.”
“The walls of that courtyard were decorated with this pattern,” Percival added.

He was always meticulous in everything he did, and no matter what happened, he would carefully observe his surroundings. That was why he clearly remembered the pattern on the walls from when they got married during the Republican era.

Odalys was in deep thought.

“This matches the wall from our wedding night around the 1920s, and this pattern looks like it was just put up. Let’s follow the direction it’s pointing in,” Odalys suggested.

Percival nodded slightly.

After all, they couldn’t just smash the walls inside the Time Tunnel. They couldn’t touch or change anything inside. If they did, maybe there would be some kind of butterfly effect. So, it was best not to touch anything.

“Percival, come here quickly!” Odalys exclaimed. A flicker of fear and terror flashed in her eyes. Seeing this, Percival hurried forward and stood behind her. As he looked at the patterns in front of him, he realized that the carvings were like a documentary.

“It tells the story of a man and a woman who were willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of justice. They’ve come back from the dead in several lifetimes just to resist an invisible force,” Odalys whispered.

It listed the years and times.

In the end, they saw that the latest timeline stopped around the 1920s.

“After the 1920s, earth-shattering changes took place. The final timeline takes a reverse turn after the 1920s,” Odalys whispered.

Finally, her and Percival’s eyes settled on the back.

The figures in the image at the back didn’t have front-facing photos, only side profiles. From their backs, it wasn’t hard to see that the people inside were her and Percival.

“It’s us.” Percival’s voice was hoarse.

Since learning that he and Odalys were married around the 1920s, his feelings have been very complicated.

He had not expected that he and Odalys had known each other, understood each other, and even been married long ago, which made him cherish the present time even more. He had not expected that they had known each other long ago.
They were lovers, but they joined hands to achieve great things.

“This wall does not record the past, but our past achievements,” Odalys said softly.

She didn’t expect there to be records of the past.

“Let’s take another look from the beginning, and see how we failed in the first place, and why, after constantly starting over, that force has not been extinguished,” Odalys said.

Chapter 708

“Transformation.” Percival read the word aloud.

Four simple words, but with a lot of room for imagination.

“Sophia,” Odalys blurted out the name.

She quickly tugged at Percival’s sleeve and said,” From the beginning, there was something wrong with her.

“After the Bennet family adopted her, she grew up quickly and made them dote on her. Now that something has happened to the Bennet family, she still stays with them. She must have something on them.

“She worried that her secret would be discovered if she left the Bennet family, so she has never dared to abandon them.

“I don’t know whether the Bennet family really knows. But I found out before that someone was using magic to enhance her luck and help her steal the luck of others.

“Even after that person was killed by me, she still didn’t give up. This probably has something to do with her transformation. Orson and I confirmed at the hospital that her original appearance should be that of a middle-aged woman in her 40s, and she was ugly.

“So she must have used some special method to make herself younger and become another person, deceive everyone, successfully blend into the crowd, and grow up again.

“It must be Sophia,” Odalys said coldly.

Her voice trembled slightly, unable to hide her excitement.

She had never underestimated Sophia, but she never thought this way.

“She has been hurt repeatedly and has tried everything to find the person who drew the Love Spell, but to no avail. She’s like an ordinary person driven to a dead end, and it doesn’t seem like anyone is secretly helping her.

“And yesterday, we destroyed her ten fingers, making her hands unable to tear anyone apart with her bare hands. If she is really that powerful, she shouldn’t be like this.” Percival shook his head.

Sophia appeared foolish and vain. She didn’t look like a powerful person at all.

“What if it’s a disguise to deceive us into thinking she’s stupid and incapable of causing trouble? In this case, she would be the safest.

“If she can undergo a complete transformation, then minor injuries are nothing to her, and she wouldn’t even bat an eyelid,” Odalys said.

Percival fell silent.

“So if she can undergo a complete transformation, it’s possible that she’ll try to avoid the limelight when she’s about to die, and then use a fake death to get out of it so that people will mistakenly think she’s dead.

“For this, after she recovers, she will make a comeback,” Percival analyzed.

Odalys took a step back, her eyes fixed on the pattern above.

“No wonder she has been targeting me and forcing me to leave the Bennett family. If I stay in the Bennett family, her secret will be exposed,” Odalys whispered.

Sophia might not arouse suspicion in a short time, but if she caused trouble, Odalys would definitely notice it.

In order to rest assured, Sophia has been trying to steal the limelight to distract Odalys. In the end, she even forced Odalys to marry in her place. All of this was a cover-up for something. That explains everything.

“It seems that making you marry in her place is indeed the best way out, regardless of whether you are terminally ill or not,” Odalys said.

Once she figured it out, she suddenly felt a lot more relaxed.

“Hurry up. Let’s climb over and find Windsor,” Odalys said.

Every minute and every second was crucial for them now. If Windsor didn’t show up within an hour, he might die. Windsor couldn’t die yet.

It was okay if he didn’t know anything. But if he was involved in these things, they needed to get some so-called truth out of him.

“Let me carry you over,” Percival said.

Without waiting for Odalys’ response, Percival wrapped his arms around her slender waist and lifted her into his arms.

Supporting himself with one hand, he leaped onto the 10-inch-high wall. A flicker of astonishment crossed Odalys’ eyes as she found herself held securely in Percival’s arms. Standing atop the high wall, they were met with a hazy expanse, visibility reduced to almost nothing.

Percival turned, still holding her, and leaped forward.

“Be careful,” Odalys called out hurriedly.

Percival jumped down, assuming the other side was the same as the one they had just left-10 inches high and not particularly dangerous. But as they landed, his dark eyes narrowed slightly. Their bodies plummeted downwards, buffeted by icy gusts of wind.

“It’s a cliff! Damn it.” Percival’s voice was hoarse with tension. He pulled Odalys closer, shielding her body with his own as they continued to fall. Sheltered in Percival’s embrace, Odalys felt the wind whipping at her face. His large hand cupped her cheek, pressing her head against his chest to protect her from the worst of the gusts. Nestled against him, she listened to the steady, powerful beat of his heart, her hand instinctively clutching his arm.

Seeing Percival’s serious expression and his deep eyes, Odalys instinctively wrapped her arms around his waist, their bodies pressed close.

Her arms wrapped around him, her hands pressing against his waist, protecting him in a guarded stance.

If danger were to strike, she wouldn’t let anything happen to Percival.

Percival’s strong heartbeat echoed in her ears.

Percival felt as if his body were on fire. His Adam’s apple bobbed as if he were forcing himself to suppress something. Odalys in his arms continued to rub against him restlessly. Every movement she made sent pleasurable tingles through him.

Her heart pounded against her chest, and a strange feeling spread through her body.

Odalys flushed and her heart raced. She was thirsty and felt like walking through the desert, and the pleasurable tingles emanating from Percival’s body intensified.

She moaned softly.

Their bodies continued to plummet, as if they were falling through a vast expanse.

A moment later, Percival saw that they were close to the ground. He tried to jump up, shielding her with his body, but his muscles were too tense. Before he could react, there was a loud crash as they slammed into the ground.

The tranquil surface of the lake was disturbed by the splash of their fall.

Odalys screamed.

She pressed down on Percival’s body, and the two sank toward the bottom of the lake. Water kept pouring in, and Odalys’ arms around Percival’s waist felt bound.

Their bodies were pressed tightly together. She held her breath and looked at Percival.

As breathing became more and more difficult, Percival suddenly lowered his head and pressed his thin lips against hers. The pleasurable tingles hit her again, and Odalys was stunned, her attractive eyes wide open.

Odalys felt Percival’s thin lips part slightly, kissing her lips continuously. Her face flushed red with anger, but then she realized that Percival was actually giving her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Her mind went blank.

She moaned softly, her blood rushing upward.

As Percival gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, the indescribable feeling grew stronger. Odalys’ mind went blank, her hands clutching tightly onto Percival’s arms.

The next second, he lifted her up, his broad palm resting on her butt.

Chapter 709

Odalys froze, her body lifted by his force and tossed upwards. The next second, Percival’s long legs lifted and kicked something beside them, carrying her out of the water with a splash.

A gust of wind blew, and she shivered from the cold.

She didn’t come back to her senses until Percival took her to the lakeside.

The kiss from Percival had just left her mind blank and unsure of where she was. Only now did she realize that she had relied on him so much in the lake. The feeling was unbelievable. After all, it was not good to rely on someone.

Relying too much on someone meant putting her life in their hands.

And she never liked to rely on others. She believed that she was in charge of her life, so she had made a fatal mistake just now.
“I’m sorry about just now. I thought you were out of breath, so I kissed you in a hurry. I wanted to give you some air.” Percival looked at her flushed face.

He looked away unnaturally, not daring to meet her eyes.

The pleasurable tingles seemed to linger on his lips, still carrying her unique warmth, and he couldn’t help himself. Percival quickly got up and turned his back to her as he thought of this.

Odalys hurriedly untied her hair. Her wet hair was scattered behind her back. She got up and shook the water drops from her body.

“It’s okay, I know you were just anxious. If it were me, I would have done the same.” Odalys quickly helped him out of the awkward situation. They stood there as Percival looked around. “There’s no one else here. Take off your clothes and dry them first. I’ll go get some firewood and see if I can make a fire to dry your clothes. You may catch a cold if you wear wet clothes,” Percival said.

He walked forward, and as he was leaving, he took off his shirt and threw it aside.

His shirt landed in front of her, just blocking her view. She peeked at Percival’s broad shoulders and narrow waist, and the words “sexy waist” kept popping up in her head.

“What am I thinking?” Odalys felt she had some dirty thoughts.

She quickly looked away and, without putting on airs, took off all her clothes, wrung out the water, hung them aside, and looked around with her arms crossed over her chest.

After a while, she faintly heard footsteps.

Odalys turned her head and saw Percival approaching with an armful of firewood. He put it down not far from her clothes and kept trying to start a fire, but found that it wouldn’t light. Percival’s forehead was beaded with sweat from anxiety, and he whispered, “It seems I can’t start a fire here.”

“If I can’t make a fire, you can’t wear your clothes, as they stay wet. What should I do?” Percival said.

This place didn’t seem to have sun. It was always in the shade. They were in the pitch dark without any sunlight.

Besides, the Time Tunnel meant that many things were fake.

“Let me try,” Odalys said.

From behind Percival’s shirt, Odalys reached out her slender arm. She held a talisman between her fingertips and flicked it lightly. The talisman lit up in response.

Odalys flicked her fingertips, and the lit talisman landed on the pile of firewood in front of Percival.

With a loud “boom,” the fire was ignited. Percival was shocked. He didn’t expect her talisman to be able to light a fire. He turned to look at her arm.

Her fair arm was slender and tender, its muscles outlined beneath her skin. It was beautiful and sexy.

After a few glances, Percival swallowed subconsciously. His handsome face flushed, and he turned away. Odalys poked her head out, looking at his flustered appearance with some confusion.

“Mr. Stewart, what’s wrong? Why is your face so red? Are you running a fever?” Odalys asked, her eyes full of confusion.

She moved closer and reached out to feel Percival’s forehead.

She was startled by how hot he was, as if he had a high fever. Odalys quickly withdrew her hand and asked, “Why are you so hot? You don’t have a fever, do you?”

“I can’t find any medicine here. What if your fever gets worse?” Odalys asked worriedly.

Percival watched her approach, her scent filling his nostrils like an aphrodisiac, triggering an unexpected reaction in his body. He quickly turned his head away, his back facing her.

He slowly closed his eyes. He had never been attracted to women, but he didn’t expect to have such a reaction to her.
‘Damn my hormones, he thought.

“It’s nothing. Maybe I ran too fast just now. That’s why my temperature is up,” Percival said.

Odalys looked down in shock at her exposed body. It dawned on her that she was completely naked, and she quickly retreated.

Her arms crossed over her chest, her entire body flushed red like a cooked shrimp.

With a whoosh, she quickly squatted down.

She didn’t dare to make a sound, as if Percival’s scorching body temperature had been transferred to her.

She finally realized what had happened with Percival just now. She bit her lip, wishing she could just faint.

“I’ll help you dry your clothes,” Percival said.

He turned away, reached for her clothes, and hung them aside. Her talisman’s fire was strong, burning fiercely. He hung the clothes to the side, and in a few minutes, they were almost dry.

Odalys looked at his back and asked softly, “Aren’t you going to take your clothes off?”

“I am,” Percival said.

He looked back at her, and she quickly looked away. “You can take them off. I won’t look,” she said.

She turned her back to him, vaguely hearing the sound of him undoing his belt. Odalys couldn’t help but picture many images in her mind, especially his broad shoulders and narrow waist as he left just now.

‘Damn it. When do I become so lustful?’ she thought.

Logically, she couldn’t have such thoughts about a man, but Percival seemed to be an exception. Hearing him shake his clothes, Odalys quickly turned around, only to hear Percival say in a magnetic voice, “Don’t peek.”

“What’s wrong with me taking a peek? Percival, you were brought back to life because of our marriage. You’re my man. It won’t hurt if I take a peek, right?

“Why are you guarding against me? You make it sound like I’m some kind of pervert.” Odalys was a little unconvinced.

Although she wasn’t a capricious person, hearing Percival say that, she couldn’t help but retort.

After being countered by her, Percival fell silent. He said thoughtfully, “Then do you still want to look?”

“Where do you want to look?” Percival asked with a serious expression.

The question made her mind go blank.

She didn’t expect Percival to say that, so she didn’t reply. Percival continued, “It’s not that I won’t let you see, but I thought you might see the scars on my body and be disgusted.” “Why don’t you take a look?” Percival asked tentatively.

Finding that she was still silent, Percival was a little anxious.

He had never taken a woman’s words to heart, nor had any woman ever affected his emotions, but at this moment, his emotions were stirred by her. Percival’s Adam’s apple moved.

Chapter 710

He turned his head, his eyes meeting Odalys’ beautiful eyes.

She stared straight at him. When their eyes met, she quickly looked away and said, “You asked me to look.”

Percival pursed his lips tightly.

Neither of them spoke again. Time passed minute by minute.

Odalys rubbed her cheeks continuously, feeling like she was going crazy. In such a serious place, she actually peeked at him. Now her mind was full of Percival’s figure.

“You have a good figure,” Odalys said suddenly.

Percival was being praised by her. He seemed to have thought of something else and said, “How about we have a child after this is over?”

“Do you prefer a boy or a girl?” Percival asked. Odalys didn’t expect him to think this way. He actually wanted to have children with her.

“Shut up.” Odalys blushed.

She turned her back to him and said nothing. However, she heard Percival’s heavy footsteps coming toward her. Odalys froze, feeling him approaching and standing behind her.

A piece of clothing was draped over her, tightly wrapping around her body.

“Your clothes are dry,” Percival said.

He put her clothes on her, turned around, and put on his own. Percival’s movements were swift, and he was dressed in a minute.

Odalys also got dressed and stood up with a straight face.

Percival stood with his back to her, as if he didn’t dare to look at her.

“Why are you stunned?” Odalys walked over and looked at him with some puzzlement.

Percival’s dark eyes flickered a little. Seeing her delicate, pink face, Percival was a little lost, not daring to look at her, as if his inner thoughts would be seen through by her.

“Nothing. I was just thinking that something wasn’t right when we fell into the lake after climbing over the wall. Look at the position of the wall. It’s so far from the lake,” Percival said.

He pointed to the front.

Odalys followed his gaze and saw that the wall was indeed very blurry, apparently at least a mile away. How did they fall into this lake?

“No, the lake is gone.” Odalys suddenly looked down.

She found that the lake from before was like a monster, leaping a thousand miles in a bound and disappearing in the blink of an eye.

And where the lake had been just now, there were now hundreds of flowers in full bloom, their fragrance constantly carried by the wind to their noses.

“Was that lake alive?” A hint of disbelief flashed through Percival’s eyes.

He had seen strange things, but nothing like this. A lake had just run away in front of them, and it had run very fast, as if afraid of being caught.

“Not only is the lake alive, but everything here should be alive. It may be real or fake. It’s both real and fake,” said Odalys.

As soon as she finished speaking, she heard a poof” sound.

The two quickly turned their heads and saw Windsor running toward them with a pale face. Suddenly, he vomited blood and fell to his knees. He clutched his chest and looked up at them. Odalys’ eyes met Windsor’s, and Windsor suppressed the pain in his body.

“Odalys, why are you here? Get out. Get out now,” Windsor roared at her, enduring the pain.

Odalys exchanged glances with Percival, and they both strode forward to help Windsor up.

After confirming that Windsor was real, Odalys’ heart sank. Her gaze toward Windsor became meaningful.

“How did you get in here?” Odalys asked suddenly.

Windsor swayed and collapsed onto the ground.

Before they could speak, several voices came from behind them.

Freya and the others rushed over. When they saw Odalys, they immediately became alert.”

Who are you? Why are you pretending to be Odalys?” Freya demanded.

“Damn, it’s Odalys and Percival. What the hell!” Francis blurted out.

Selah pulled Freya back, not daring to go any further.

Stellan was very calm. He stared at Odalys and Percival and asked, “Are you two real?”

“Aren’t you at Stewart Villa? How did you get in?” Odalys’ heart sank when she saw the four of them.
This was so ridiculous.

She didn’t expect them to come here.

Logically speaking, the Time Tunnel wasn’t for anyone to enter. Unless the Time Tunnel was disorganized, causing others to enter by mistake. “When we left Stewart Villa, we encountered something on the road that looked like a ghost blocking our way, so we put the talismans together. Then it disappeared, and we entered here.

“As soon as we came in, we saw Windsor. We chased him down nine streets and found that he was running for his life all the time, and we also saw that what was chasing him was a lake,” Freya explained immediately.

Hearing her say “a lake”, Odalys and Percival were a little shocked.

So, the one who chased Windsor was the lake that caught them when they fell down just now.

“It’s so strange. The water in that lake seems to be on its way. It seemed to be in a hurry just now. It turned around and ran away. It seems to be running here. Odalys, did you see it?” Freya looked around.

The ground was still damp, a clear indication that the lake had passed through here. Only it could hold so much water.

But now, the lake seemed to have vanished. “It ran away,” Odalys sighed and said.

“Ran away? It ran away?” Selah was terrified too. They felt like they’d never seen as much in their lives as they had just now.

“Maybe when we opened the time tunnel, time was distorted. And you guys used talismans with my aura on them, so it dragged you in forcibly,” Odalys explained.

Stellan looked at Odalys, then at Windsor.

“So you’re saying Windsor is also real? Why is he running for his life here? There doesn’t seem to be anyone else here except us, and we don’t even know where we are,” Stellan said.

They still had no clue what was going on.

“In the Time Tunnel, everything inside is static. Many of the things you see could be illusions. It’ s all set,” Odalys said.

When they heard the two words “Time Tunnel”, the expressions on everyone’s faces were meaningful.

“We can’t stay here any longer. You have to go now, or it will be too late,” Windsor said while gritting his teeth.

Odalys stared into Windsor’s eyes. She slowly squatted down, looked at him, and asked, “Did you know about Percival’s father’s death?

“Or were you involved?

“Why did he arrange it?” Odalys quickly asked three questions.

Windsor’s face instantly turned pale, and a trace of fear flashed in his eyes. He looked at her in disbelief, as if trying to see through her. But her eyes were too pure.

“Let’s go out first, and I’ll tell you when we’re out,” Windsor said.

He reached out and grabbed Odalys’ hand, stuffed something into her hand, and said, “Hold it tight. No matter what happens, don’t open it.”

I am a simple girl with a deep brown hair, and a brown eyes. As I grew up I was the laughing-stock of my cousins and playmates by teasing me "Negra" because I am not blessed with fair skin. Those memories just makes me "Smile" everytime I remember it, although I still have a dark skin but I love "Myself" Nakkkssss!!! I grew up in Castilla, Sorsogon, loved my elementary and high school but enjoyed most of my college days. Aside from my work I have other or rather many interest. I love adventure, learning new languages and it's culture, animals, natures, being out in the woods, in the mountains, long walks on the beach, in the rural areas, and i'm at home in the city as well. I'm a music enthusiast (any genre depend on my mood), a foodie, a portrait fanatic, and a movie buff. :) I can know a little bit about everything but I cannot master of anything. Personality wise, I think I am 30-50% good natured, 40 % charming, 15% sarcastic, 10% evil, 40% funny, 25% naugthy ;) :P, hmmm what else? ;) If you have a banner or Link Ads, an Articles, feel free to Email Me!
