Betrayed, Yet Bound To The Billionaire by Grace Madeline (Chapters 651 to 660)

Chapter 651

“What’s the matter?” Odalys raised an eyebrow.

She could see that Sophia was wearing a hospital gown, which meant that she had been hospitalized.
Her eyes surreptitiously glanced at Sophia’s fingertips. She noticed that her fingers were bandaged and there was a lingering scent of medicine.

Odalys’s sneak glance did not escape Sophia’s eye. Her face turned almost purple with anger. She glared back at Odalys and demanded, “I’ll give you one chance. Use your medicine to heal my hand, and I’ll forgive you.
“Otherwise, I’ll expose your true colors and let your fans see what kind of person you really are,” Sophia growled through gritted teeth.

Odalys watched her ranting like some shrew and almost laughed out.

“What are you laughing at?” Sophia felt a shiver run down her spine.

As Odalys approached her, Sophia was so frightened that she backed away until she bumped into a pillar behind. She was a little panicky now and didn’t know what to do.

“I’m laughing because you truly don’t know what’s good for you. You still have the guts to threaten me? Do you think I’m like the rest of the Bennett family? That I’ll accord you some respect?” Odalys remarked icily.

Sophia was stumped. Odalys then suddenly grabbed her by the lapels and dragged her into the stairwell.
Before Sophia could react, Odalys raised her hand and tossed a talisman at the surveillance camera to block it. She then grabbed Sophia up by the neck.

When Sophia was lifted by her neck, she became so scared that she tried to scream.

Next, she saw Odalys’s other hand hovering over her chest with a silver needle that had appeared from nowhere.

“Odalys Stone, what are you doing? Are you trying to kill me?” Sophia screamed in terror.

Now, whenever she saw Odalys, she wanted to rush up and bite her like a madwoman, but she never thought that Odalys would dare to attack her in a place like the hospital.

“Argh!” Sophia uttered a muffled cry in pain. Odalys had pierced her flesh with the silver needle.
Blood oozed from her flawless skin, and as Sophia struggled in vain, Odalys stabbed her two more times viciously.

Sophia’s eyes widened in horror as she realized

that Odalys wasn’t joking with her. Odalys was going to kill her.

“So you thought I was threatening you, did you? Do I need to threaten you? Now that you don’t even have the Love Spell and your seven orifices are sealed, what else do you have to be arrogant about?

“Do you know what the seven orifices are? After you ate and drank yesterday, did you excrete anything? Don’t tell me you’re still holding it in? Even if I give you a laxative, you still won’t be able to clear your bowels!

“Your own seven orifices are blocked, and you still dare to yell at me? Do you really think I don’t dare to kill you? I’m not afraid because I have nothing to lose anymore. If you still insist on provoking me, I won’t stab you here next time.” Odalys’s eyes were chilly and she sounded dead serious. This sight frightened Sophia so much that her body trembled.

“You brought this on yourself, yet you still want to blame me? Your Love Spell was cast using Oliver Carline’s blood. You wanted to use his power to enhance yourself.

“But you didn’t know his blood was incompatible with your Love Spell and it led to your seven orifices getting blocked. Now you can’t even get Henry Bennett’s heart blood.” When Odalys said this, she cast a side glance at Sophia’s belly.

Sophia’s originally flat lower abdomen did seem to be bulging slightly.

“You may not be aware, but if you haven’t been excreting or going to the toilet, you may not feel any discomfort at first. But you still have to eat and drink. Over a long period, your intestines will accumulate more and more stuff. Everything will be stored in there.

“When your intestines can’t bear it anymore, they may explode outright. But if you don’t want them to explode, you can look for a doctor to give you bowel obstruction surgery and drain the contents of your intestines.

“This way, you don’t need to go to the toilet, and you can enjoy the pain of surgery similar to a cesarean section. But weren’t you vomiting repeatedly previously as if you were pregnant? Is it shit or a child in your abdomen?” Odalys asked herself while feigning bafflement.

Every word she said was like a needle that pierced Sophia’s heart.

She was trembling with anger as her mind constantly replayed the scene Odalys described. She felt so disgusted that she wanted to vomit when she imagined her abdomen being packed with feces and urine.

She was a cleanliness freak, yet now she could no longer look at her own abdomen without thinking about excrement.

“Argh! Odalys Stone, you bitch!” Sophia was so furious that she almost went berserk.

When Odalys was done talking, she suddenly released her grip.

Sophia was caught off guard and tumbled down the steps. Thump! Her head hit the ground and there was the sound of something cracking.

She slumped to the ground as pain shot through her knees.

As Odalys descended the stairs slowly, Sophia struggled to get up.

“It seems that the Bennett family’s education is nothing more than this. You grew up in a wealthy family, yet whenever you open your mouth, all you know is to call people bitches. I wonder how ignorant you are when your vocabulary is so limited.

“They say that it’s scary to be uneducated. You are educated but are worse than those who are uneducated. What do you say, bitch?” Odalys sneered, taunting her.

Just as Sophia was about to stand up, Odalys raised her foot and kicked her.

“Get out of my way,” Odalys shot out icily. She was not a saint, nor did she have a good temper.

“Today it was Sophia who charged at her. If she hadn’t been able to defend herself, she would have been beaten up by Sophia again.

As she recalled Sophia’s bullying in the past, the iciness in Odalys’s eyes intensified.

“If not for the fact that she wanted to stay out of other people’s karma and Sophia Bennet was still useful to her, she honestly wanted Sophia dead. This character was a scourge, and who knew how many people she would go on to harm.

“Argh, Odalys Stone, you…” Sophia couldn’t bring herself to say the word “bitch” anymore. “Fuming over Odalys’s mockery, the pain from her fingertips seemed to intensify. The fingertips that had just been bandaged suffered some abrasions when she fell, and now blood was oozing out of them again.

“The pain from all ten fingers was so intense now that it was difficult for her to breathe.

“Sophia could only watch with hatred as Odalys swept past her and went downstairs with a flourish.

“My seven orifices are blocked? That’s right! I haven’t felt the urge to go to the toilet since I was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Could it be that they are really blocked? If so, what should I do?
“My Love Spell has worn off, and it was incompatible with Oliver Carline’s blood.

“How can I solve this now? Look for Oliver? Yes, I must look for Oliver,” Sophia mumbled in a flustered manner.

“She couldn’t imagine the scenario of needing to have her abdomen cut open to clear the excrement inside if her bowels were really blocked. The whole matter would spread and become known to everyone. She would lose all her dignity.

However, she would never let herself end up in such a plight.

“Hannah Bennett called for an ambulance to send Oliver to the hospital. He wasn’t back when I came out yesterday. He must still be in the hospital now. I have to look for Oliver to solve this matter,” Sophia muttered to herself again and again like some lunatic.

“In reality, Odalys didn’t go far. She was leaning leisurely in the corridor, listening to Sophia’s mumbling. Thereafter, she saw Sophia scrambling upstairs in a panic.

Chapter 652

“Pfft!” Odalys couldn’t resist laughing. The thought of Sophia begging Oliver Carline for help just to go to the bathroom was simply too funny.

The woman who was once so arrogant was now struggling to go to the bathroom.

“What made you so happy?” Percival’s voice rang out.

Odalys snapped out of her reverie upon hearing his voice. She turned around and realized that Percival had arrived at her side at some point. She covered her face with some embarrassment.

“Nothing. I was just thinking that after Sophia’s seven orifices were blocked, she wanted to seek Oliver Carline’s help. She will definitely be ripped off.”

After saying this, Odalys became serious. “Sophia’s appearance was altered before she was sent to the Bennett family. She must have known about it all these years. Since she has the Love Spell, she must also know that she’s relying on it to maintain her whole charade.

“But it’s strange though. Sophia doesn’t seem to be in a hurry even though she’s in a desperate situation.
“Without the blessing of the Love Spell and her luck, her appearance will become increasingly uglier. Then she will eventually return to her original form, or even become uglier than before. For someone like her who loves beauty, she won’t be able to accept it.

“But she still hasn’t taken the initiative to look for the person who cast the Love Spell. Either she can’t find him or she feels that the time is not right.” Many questions were swirling in Odalys’s mind. Sophia was a selfish person. There was no way she would suffer to such an extent just to protect another person. So, what was Sophia Bennet waiting for?

“Is it possible that the person who cast this spell is close by, and she’s putting herself in this situation to divert everyone’ s attention, or does she already have a countermeasure?” Percival mused aloud.
Odalys shook her head and replied, “I have just cast a binding spell on her.

“It will keep her in her current state. If her state changes, I’ll be notified. I want to see if the person who sent her the Love Spell is the same person who made the Bennett family abandon me.

“What was this person’s purpose in planting her in the Bennett family? What could he possibly gain from the Bennett family?” Odalys wondered aloud.

The Bennett family was seemingly down on their luck and appeared to have hit rock bottom, with no more options other than filing for bankruptcy.

“I hit her just now,” Odalys suddenly said.

“She was so fed up with Sophia’s attitude that she kicked her.

“Well done, Mrs. Stewart.” Percival was unperturbed.

Odalys was taken aback. “Don’t you think I’m a bit violent, or very mean for kicking her when she’s down? I mean, she’s already miserable, yet I still want to hit her.”
Percival laughed in amusement at her words.

“If you have sympathized with her or felt sorry for her, I will think you are too much of a goody-two-shoes. A normal person will fight back when provoked, and besides, she deserves to be punished for all the bad things she’s done,” Percival replied.

“Sophia Bennet is not of good character. For years, she’s been absorbing the luck of her fans who adore her. She even went so far as to hurt the Bennet family who raised her.

“This sort of character is ruthless, selfish, and capable of harming even her own fans, as she demonstrated just a few days ago at the entrance of Magic Entertainment. If she regains her lofty position, she may become even more vicious than Edie Stewart.” Percival gave a very damning analytical report calmly.
Clearly, he had no respect for Sophia Bennet.

Odalys raised an eyebrow. “Speaking of Edie Stewart, I recall that she was the one who sent Sophia to the hospital yesterday. It’s surprising that of all the Bennett family members, she was the one who helped Sophia.”

Right now, Edie was probably anxious and restless like an ant on a hot pan.

“The villa in the East District has been sealed, that nouveau riche has been arrested, and the producer’s older brother -in-law has also been taken into custody. Edie’s plan to harm young girls by selling them into posthumous marriages has been brought to a stop.

“Her socialite training club and lounge lizard agency are also under investigation, and she has been forced to shut them down.

“Edie may seem calm now, but in reality, she may have run out of options. The reason she reached out to Sophia Bennet is probably because she wants to use Sophia Bennet to make a comeback,” Percival speculated.
Percival was not in a hurry. Instead, he would tighten the screw on the other party little by little until they had no way out.

“Any news from Windsor Bennett?” Odalys asked again.

“It had been almost 24 hours since yesterday, and Windsor still hadn’t returned.

After 48 hours, he would be possessed again. By then, he might not even regain consciousness.

Odalys thought he would return to the Bennett family to settle the score, but strangely, he did not.

“No. After he came out of Film Capital that day, he drove away alone. He apparently abandoned his car in the suburbs and walked off and vanished completely from everyone’s sight,” Percival answered with a shake of his head.

But then again, Percival’s men did not tail Windsor closely.

“If Caspian Bennet is related to that old man by blood, surely Windsor is aware of it? Yet he still kept Caspian in the Bennett family and raised him,” Odalys murmured in a low voice.

Percival listened intently and suddenly asked, “Is it possible he doesn’t know about this at all?”

“Windsor didn’t trust Hannah. From the beginning, he was drugged, which led to her pregnancy and her subsequent rise to power. After the child was born, he even conducted paternity tests. I don’t know if Hannah was aware of this.

“I found out about this after I returned to the Bennett family. I was cleaning one day and stumbled upon the paternity test results in Windsor’s drawer. The tests were conducted three days after the child was born.

“But there were only two paternity test reports in the drawer, one for Henry and one for Atlas. There was no reason for Caspian not to undergo a test. Unless the test had already been done but the results surprised Windsor and he destroyed the report,” Odalys surmised.

She had always found it strange that only Caspian’s paternity test report was missing.

Now it seemed possible that Caspian wasn’t related to the Bennett family and had been intentionally placed within the family.

“If Caspian isn’t his son, then Windsor should have known about Hannah’s infidelity a long time ago,” Percival remarked.

Odalys didn’t respond. Instead, she headed downstairs. Percival followed closely behind. Their steps were in sync, reflecting a silent understanding as they descended the stairs.

“I want to show you something,” Odalys suddenly said. Her voice held an air of mystery, instantly piquing Percival’s curiosity.

In the corner, she suddenly pulled Percival over, pressed her hand to his forehead, and felt a white light flash. In the distance, she saw Edie.

“That’s Edie?” Percival asked in surprise. The woman looked very young, full of youthful vigor. She was walking in front. Suddenly, she turned her head and looked back. A figure appeared in her sight. The familiar outline surprised Percival.

Edie stepped forward and held the person’s hand. The image froze at this moment and then dispersed.

Odalys withdrew her hand, wrapped her arms around her chest, and glanced at Percival with a smile. “Did you see it clearly?” she asked.

“Was that Windsor?” Percival asked in surprise, obviously unsure.

Odalys nodded. “Windsor and Edie knew each other. You could even say they were lovers! After Windsor came back, I found that he secretly had connections with Edie. That was when I found that they had secrets.”

Chapter 653

“So, you know why Hannah and Edie had a falling out?” Odalys said with a smile. She was happy to talk about the gossips. “Hannah and Edie used to be best friends. Edie and Windsor were a couple, but at last, Hannah drugged Windsor, and became pregnant after being with him.”

Percival sorted out his thoughts and felt that these relationships were really messy.

“Yes, Hannah stole her best friend’s boyfriend, and they became enemies! But the premise is that Edie drugged your father first. She wanted to marry your mother. But she didn’t expect that as soon as she succeeded, Hannah and Windsor would be together.” Odalys said, but the corners of her mouth couldn’t help but curl up. Romantic relationships. were always complicated.

“If that’s the case, then Edie abandoned Windsor first and wanted to marry into a rich and powerful family?” Percival was a little puzzled. He felt that women’s brains work differently from men’s.

Edie chose the Stewart family, so she gave up her previous boyfriend. Then why couldn’t Hannah and Windsor be together?

“Maybe Hannah deliberately tricked Edie, so that she dared to be with Windsor openly! Edie hates her.” Odalys said. “Hannah had schemed against her, while she always wanted to be Mrs. Bennett. Furthermore, she was the adopted daughter of the Bennett family. To put it bluntly, both she and Sophia were adopted by the Bennett family.” Percival remained silent after hearing this, unsure of what to say.
Such incidents were common in wealthy families.

“So, Edie was calculated against. Now she has left the Stewart family, married Henry, returned to the Bennett family, and even become Hannah’s daughter-in-law. Do you think Hannah can swallow this?”

Odalys’ words plunged Percival into silence once more.

“Last time, Hannah tried to seduce your grandfather. She set a honey trap, trying to control him with corpse oil! Later, your grandfather reported it under his real name. The matter caused quite a stir. I don’t believe there wasn’t someone fanning the flames behind the scenes. Edie is likely setting a trap for Hannah. They were best friends once. Even
though they had a falling out years ago, they still understand each other very well. That’s why she’s getting close to Sophia now.”

“What do you think she’s after? Sophia is Hannah’s child.” Odalys was amused.

The Bennet family was really in a mess. She felt gross. “To make Sophia sick of Hannah.” Percival frowned slightly, though a little puzzled, he still respected her opinion.

Odalys shook her head. She couldn’t hide the smile on her face.

“The Bennett family raised Sophia for a reason. Hannah has been grooming her for years. Imagine if she had to watch her years of effort go to waste, all for someone else gain? Sophia must have a secret, and it’s beneficial to the Bennett family. Edie is showing Sophia her kindness. If she could get Sophia’s favor, Sophia would be at her disposal. Won’t Hannah be slapped in the face then? Years of her hard work would be ruined! When the time comes, she’ll realize that she ends up with nothing. It should be a big blow to her. Edie is never kind,” Odalys said.

Having a bestie was risky.

“I see.” Percival seemed to understand. The war between women was too brain- consuming.

“Come on, I’ll take you to a place,” Odalys said.

She took Percival by hand and led him downstairs. They walked out of the hospital building. As they were about to get into the car, the door was held by someone. Odalys turned around.

She saw Caspian’s darkened face as he glared at her. “Something wrong?” Odalys couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of Caspian. The Bennett family was everywhere. She had just thought of Caspian, and there he was. It seemed
like even if she didn’t provoke the Bennett family, they wouldn’t let her go, always clinging to her.

“I have something to say to you,” Caspian said.

Odalys looked at Caspian up and down for a moment, then turned to Percival and said, “Wait for me in the car.”
Percival’s hand tightened on the car door. Although he didn’t like her getting close to Caspian, he didn’t stop her. He watched them walk away.

Odalys and Caspian walked under a tree. She deliberately kept a distance from him. “Just say what you want,” Odalys replied coldly.

Caspian stood in front of her, his face gloomy and fierce. He looked at her and said, “Brandon, who lives in my house, is suspicious.”

“What?” Odalys raised her eyebrows.

She was a little surprised. She didn’t expect that he would come to talk to her about Brandon.

“He approached me yesterday, implying that we were destined to meet. He wanted me to cooperate with him, and he was willing to help me take control of the Bennett family. I think it’s a conspiracy. The Bennett Group has long gone bankrupt. What’s the use of controlling the Bennett family? Besides, he has been living in my mother’s room, so he should be more familiar with my mother. But he came to me alone. He also said that he has a way to help me get rid of the one attached to me, as long as I am willing to join hands with him,” Caspian continued.

Hearing this, a trace of surprise flashed through Odalys’ eyes.

“But I don’t trust him! That’s why I came to you. I feel like he’s been watching Sophia. I don’t know what’s so special about Sophia. I’m sure this old man and Oliver are both after Sophia. They deliberately got close to Mom, making people mistakenly think they are Hannah’ s people. But in fact, they have been secretly watching Sophia.”

“Right now, the storms brewing within the Bennett family are all because of Sophia. This woman, taken in by us, likely had ulterior motives from the start. She hurt Atlas, and yesterday, she even tried to take my big brother’s lifeblood. I suspect she’s not even human! Are you a member of the Magic Sect? You should give it a try and see if you can expose her true form.” Caspian suggested.

Hearing this, Odalys quickly raised a hand, signaling him to stop.

“Don’t need to talk so much. You just need my help, right? You want to use me to deal with Sophia, so you can get rid of her. Then, you and Brandon will join forces. He’ll help you seize control of the Bennett family.

Caspian, do you think I’m stupid? What’s in it for me if I help you? Why should I involve myself in the Bennett family’s mess? Besides, I told you before: don’t come to me with your problems. Don’t remind me of my identity. It has nothing to do with you. Your dealings have nothing to do with me.” Odalys refused. She stared at Caspian, her gaze turning icy.

“You want to use me so that others mistakenly believe our relationship has thawed, thereby mistakenly believing that you can also get involved with the Stewart family. Then you can rely on these unclear relationships to make a comeback. Do you really think you’re some kind of saint? Sophia was almost sold by you. If I were still part of the Bennett family, guess who would have been sold off?” Odalys said with a laugh.

After she died in her past life, Caspian did indeed try to use her.

Chapter 654

Caspian had ulterior motives. Perhaps it was more accurate to say that he wanted more than Henry and Atlas. Everyone thought that he was unambitious, but in reality, he might stab others in the back.

“You.” Caspian was startled. He had kept the posthumous marriage a secret. No one knew about it except Atlas. How did Odalys find out?

“Caspian, you’re disgusting. You would even betray your own family for profit.” Odalys said coldly, interrupting him before he could continue.

She walked past him towards Percival. Caspian tried to catch up to her in a frenzy, but Odalys threw a talisman at him.

With a loud bang, the talisman exploded at his feet, sending a numbing pain through his legs. He staggered back a few steps and nearly fell to the ground. The explosion ripped two holes in his pants.

Caspian stood there, his face contorted, watching as Odalys got into the car and drove away.

“Damn it.” Caspian clenched his fists. His eyes were bloodshot, filled with unwillingness.
He thought that Odalys would soften her heart when she heard what he said and help him out. After all, no matter how bad she was, she still was a member of the Bennett family. Unfortunately, she was too hard-hearted.

“Hello, it’s me!” Caspian quickly took out his cell phone. He made a call and said with dissatisfaction, “I found Odalys, but she rejected my proposal; you killed me! Now she has a bad impression of me, and even thinks I have ulterior motives for approaching her.” Something was said on the other end. Caspian paused for a moment and said, “Yes, I just got close to her for about a minute. Is that enough time? Is it useful for me to have her scent on me? Okay, I’ll be right over.” Caspian said.

He was afraid that the scent on him would be blown away, so he walked out quickly, got into the car, and drove quickly to the suburbs.

Odalys sat in the passenger seat, gazing out the window, lost in thought.

“Caspian isn’t worth your time,” Percival said suddenly.

He couldn’t bear to see her troubled by the Bennett family’s affairs. To him, the Bennett’s were beneath notice and not worth a second thought.

“It’s not that,” Odalys said. “I just smelled something on Caspian, a familiar scent, but I can’t recall where I smelled it before.” She had a keen sense of smell like some people had a photographic memory. She could identify a scent if she had smelled it before.

After drinking Kirin blood last night, her sense was heightened, making her sharper.

“What kind of scent? Human, or something else?” Percival asked patiently, his hands on the steering wheel as he drove.

Odalys remained silent. She seemed to be deep in thought, trying to figure out what it was.

“Brake, Percival, brake,” Odalys suddenly said. Percival slammed on the brakes, the tires screeching against the pavement as the car lurched forward, propelled by its own momentum.

There was a loud bang as the car seemed to hit something.

Bright red blood splattered into the air, spraying across the windshield and dripping down the glass.
Odalys gripped the door handle tightly, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. The fog was so thick she could barely see, but the blood on the windshield was a stark reminder of what had just happened.

“I think we hit someone,” Percival said. ” Don’t worry. I’ll get out and check.” His eyes narrowed as he stared into the fog, a sense of unease washing over him.

The sun had been shining brightly just a moment ago, with no sign of fog. Now, they were enveloped in a thick mist. He was sure he would have seen someone in the road, even while he was talking.

But the car hit someone, and blood splattered into the air. That was strange. The road shouldn’t be like this.

“Don’t get out.” Odalys grabbed his hand, signaling him not to open the door.

Percival halted. Her words were his command. He sat back down.

“We didn’t hit anyone. There is no sign of life here. It’s all an illusion. We may have entered the junction of energy.” Odalys whispered.

“Yes, but it’s a pity that he underestimated me too much. Did he think it was over just by trapping us at the junction of energy? He didn’t expect that we had come here before.”

Last time, they were driven out by the power of Percival’s father. They didn’t expect to enter this place again.

“Everything we see now is an illusion. Maybe we didn’t stumble here by accident. Maybe someone is waiting for us, trying to trap us here.” Odalys whispered her analysis.

She wasn’t flustered or panicked. On the contrary, after saying this, she became calmer and more composed. “Just now, I smelled the scent of Caspian. It should be the scent of this place. I didn’t expect Caspian to give me such a big surprise!” Odalys suddenly burst into laughter.

Percival seemed to have thought of something upon hearing her words. “He came to you just now, approached you to talk, just to set you up?” A chill flashed through Percival’s eyes.

Others could plot against anyone, but not Odalys. No one could casually scheme against Percival’s woman, not even someone from the Bennett family.

“Yes, but it’s a pity that he underestimated me too much. Did he think it was over just by trapping us in this border between Yin and Yang? He didn’t expect that we had entered once before.”junction of energy
“The junction of energy in the Simpson’s place was the real one. This is just a corner. Did he think something like this could trap us? But for the sake of his hard work, we should also give him a big gift.” Odalys said coldly.

Anger filled her eyes. As soon as she finished her words, Odalys opened the car door and got out. Without a second thought, she took out a talisman and struck it upwards.

With a loud boom, it was as if a hole had been punched in the sky above, like a mouth torn open. Odalys reached out her hand. She seemed to have grabbed something and pulled hard.

“Ah!” A man’s scream came. Odalys flung her hand back, throwing the man she had caught by the foot hard to the ground.

He fell to the ground, his head bleeding. The moment he looked up, he met Odalys’ cold gaze. A bloodthirsty smile appeared on her face as she walked towards him step by step.

“You, you.” Caspian was startled. Looking around at the gray surroundings, unable to see his hand in front of him, he panicked.

“Trying to trap me here?” Odalys asked coldly.

Caspian couldn’t help but shiver. He scrambled to his feet and tried to run, but his body felt hollowed out. He was powerless and couldn’t muster any strength.

Chapter 655

When his eyes met Odalys’, Caspian was startled by the coldness in her eyes. He instinctively wanted to flee, but Percival got out of the car and blocked his way. Before Caspian could react, Percival kicked him back down, sending him sprawling at Odalys’ feet. “Ah.” Caspian landed with a thud. He struggled to get up, but then he saw Odalys staring at him. At that moment, a shiver ran down his spine, and a sense of foreboding washed over him.

“You deliberately approached me and talked to me because. You let my scent linger on you. Were you planning to kill me?” Odalys asked, looking down at him. Caspian’s lips moved, but he felt like anything he said would be useless, so he chose to remain silent. As long as he didn’t admit to anything, Odalys couldn’t do anything to him.

“What did you need her scent for?”

Percival asked.

Odalys looked up, pointed her chin forward, and said, “He’s using my scent to open the crack at the junction of energy. He wants to trap me here alive.”

“It seems this guy really knows his stuff.”

“I’m sure your last accidental entry into the junction of energy was also his doing. It seems he wants to surprise me today.” Odalys smiled calmly. Her smile was light, but it made Caspian break out in a cold sweat.
“Does it affect you now?” Percival asked with concern.

Odalys shook her head and said, “If I hadn’t drunk Kirkin’s blood, I might have been injured and trapped for a while. Now he can’t trap me.”

She turned and walked towards the car. Seeing this, Percival glanced thoughtfully at Caspian.

“What are you going to do?” Caspian was terrified.

Percival approached him without saying a word. Percival raised his foot and kicked Caspian hard in the leg. There was a faint cracking sound. Caspian’s leg was broken. “Ah.” Caspian’s eyes widened in terror.

He didn’t expect Percival to be so ruthless as to break his leg.

He stared at Percival in terror. The pain made him lose his mind for a moment. Then Percival grabbed his broken leg, lifted him up, and walked towards the car. Percival opened the trunk and threw Caspian in like a rag doll.

“My leg, my leg.” Caspian’s screams of pain echoed through the car.

Percival walked back to the driver’s seat and met Odalys’ meaningful gaze. He paused, realizing he had broken Caspian’s leg without her permission. His hand stiffened, and his Adam’s apple bobbed.

“I broke his leg,” Percival admitted truthfully. He showed no mercy to Caspian, but that didn’t mean he didn’t care about Odalys’ opinion.

Seeing his nervousness, Odalys smiled even wider. “Just his legs. What are you so nervous about? I would have done it if you hadn’t. Those who disobey and are ambitious deserve to have their legs broken.” Odalys said coldly. She had no special feelings when Caspian got close to her.

Everyone to her was just a stranger. Even if they knew each other, they only knew their names. They didn’t matter to her at all. So whether it was a broken hand or a broken leg, it didn’t matter to her.

“How are we going to get back? The fog can’t dissipate.” Percival said.

Odalys bit her fingertip and pointed forward. The place where her fingertip pointed continued to expand. Percival vaguely saw a bright light, and he started the car and rushed forward. The luxury car broke through the fog and sped forward. The next second, the car suddenly appeared on the road. The sun was shining brightly outside as if nothing had happened.

“How is that possible?” Caspian cried out in pain and rolled around. Seeing the dazzling sunlight streaming in gave him an unreal feeling.

He didn’t expect Odalys to come back so easily! Nothing happened at all, but his leg was broken by her. How did she drag him down alive and come back after breaking his leg?

Caspian was filled with fear.

“To the Bennett Villa,” Odalys said in a low voice.

Percival turned the car towards the Bennett Villa. They didn’t speak along the way; the atmosphere in the car was oppressive, and Caspian panicked even more. He wanted to take out his phone but found himself utterly drained of energy. His leg was broken, and he couldn’t move. His hand was also weak, as if all his strength had been sucked away.

“Is that what that old thing taught you? Using my scent to open a rift in the junction of energy and trap me there? What good would that do you?” Odalys asked coldly.

Caspian was in so much pain that he was sweating coldly, but he gritted his teeth and remained silent. Seeing the car stop outside the Bennett Villa, Caspian tried to climb down, but Percival dragged him out.

There was a pit in front of them, and Percival kicked him in.

“Ah.” Caspian cried out in pain. His legs were kneeling in the pit. Only half of his body was exposed. He supported himself on the edge of the pit with both hands, struggling to get up.
But Percival walked over and stepped on his hand.

Only then did Caspian feel what despair was. He didn’t expect that he would go from being high-spirited to having his legs broken in just half an hour! He didn’t expect that Odalys would be more powerful than he had imagined.

He remembered that he had always been avoiding suspicion and didn’t want to get close to Odalys. It seemed that he had something wrong with his brain. He was actually brushing his presence on the edge of death crazily.

“Who is it?” Hannah was a little anxious. Hearing the screams, she and Brandon ran out of the room.

They saw Caspian thrown into a pit. They were stunned. They found that Odalys had found a shovel from somewhere and was shoveling mud into the pit, trying to bury Caspian alive. “Odalys, what are you doing? Stop it.”

Hannah roared furiously and ran downstairs.

After she ran down, she found that Caspian had been buried; only half of his body was exposed, and his hands were constantly digging at the mud on the ground. Seeing Hannah running down, he cried out for help, “Mom, help me.” As soon as he finished speaking, Brandon also dragged his aging body and followed behind him. Seeing Caspian in such a sorry state, a hint of ruthlessness flashed in his eyes.

“Odalys, you’re going too far,” Brandon shouted angrily. Unfortunately, his words had no effect on Odalys.
She stepped on the mud to make it more compact. Brandon’s voice brought her back to her senses. She stared at
Brandon blankly, apparently lost in thought and a little troubled.

“Percival,” Odalys suddenly said. Percival hurriedly stepped forward when he heard her call his name.
“What’s wrong?” Percival asked quickly.

Odalys looked up at him pitifully, then pointed at Brandon and said, “I don’t like him. Bury him for me.” Her words shocked both Hannah and Brandon.

Chapter 656

Both of them looked at Odaly in astonishment, thinking that they had heard wrong, and felt that she must be crazy. How could she say this? She wanted to bury someone alive? Was she out of her mind?

Unexpectedly, Percival nodded slightly and said, “Okay.”

Hannah’s eyes widened.

Brandon sensed something was wrong. He turned to leave, but his feet seemed to be rooted to the spot. He tried to lift his feet, but his legs wouldn’t obey no matter how hard he tried.

Percival strode forward, reached out, grabbed him, and lifted him up.

“You’ve been so arrogant for so long. Do you really think that no one in Crownridge can do anything to you? Do you think you can do whatever you want just because you’re hiding in the Bennett’s place?” Percival said coldly.

Brandon didn’t even have the strength to struggle. He wanted to exert his strength, but it was as if it had been drained from him. It felt like an invisible hand was pressing down on him in midair, making him unable to use his strength.

This feeling made him feel a little uncomfortable, as if someone was suppressing him. Brandon couldn’t help but shiver.

“I remembered that your son died here one night.” Percival pointed to the front and said.

Without waiting for Brandon to speak, Odalys threw a talisman over. A pit was made in the ground, and Percival threw Brandon in and picked up a shovel from the side.

Hannah’s body swayed a few times. She looked at Odalys angrily, her eyes falling on Percival.

“Percival, even if your family is powerful, you can’t do whatever you want at the gate of my house. Even if my Bennett family is bankrupt and has nothing now, this is still my house, not yours.” Hannah was very angry.

As she spoke, Percival simply buried the two people. Both Caspian and Brandon were buried there, almost side by side, with only half of their bodies exposed. They looked a bit comical.

Inside the Bennett Villa, Henry and Atlas also ran out. Seeing this scene, their jaws almost dropped in shock, and they looked at each other in disbelief.

“Hello, is this the police? Someone is causing trouble at my house and burying people alive. Come quickly.” Hannah immediately called the police. After hanging up the phone, her hand was still shaking.

She glared at Odalys, her eyes burning with hatred as she watched Odalys’ smiling face. She wished she could tear Odalys apart.

“What… what are you doing?” Hannah stared at Odalys as Odalys stepped forward. Hannah backed away in fear, dropping her phone in shock. She didn’t dare to pick it up. Instead, she kept swallowing her saliva, her eyes flickering. She wanted to run away.

“Nothing! I just think you’re strange. You drugged Windsor and slept with him

back then. I thought you loved him a lot. I didn’t expect you to let this old man live in the same room as you now. You seem to be threatened, but you seem to be enjoying it, aren’t you?” Odalys said.

Hannah blushed as she was spoken to. “Odalys, what nonsense are you talking about? We cut ties long ago. You are not my daughter anymore. If you dare talk nonsense in my house again, I will tear your mouth apart.”

Hannah shouted angrily. Odalys smiled even more. She stared at Hannah as if she wanted to see through Hannah.
“Really?” Odalys raised her eyebrows.

She just stood there, her seriousness so intense that Hannah almost couldn’t breathe.

Although Odalys was only 20 years old, Hannah was a little scared when she saw Odalys, feeling as if she had offended some extraordinary person. Odalys looked so different now.

Hannah looked at Odalys in a daze, as if trying to see through Odalys. She couldn’t figure out why, after only two months, Odalys seemed like a different person. Odalys wasn’t like this before! Was it since Odalys got her necklace back that she had changed?

“Do you recognize this?” Odalys said. She took out a bottle and handed it over. It was a familiar bottle, but it made Hannah freeze.

“Corpse oil, the kind you wanted to use on Evander last time,” Odalys said. Hannah’s legs went weak with fear. For some reason, seeing the bottle in Odalys’ hand gave her a bad feeling, as if everything had been laid out in front of everyone.

“You wanted to set up a honey trap, seduce Evander, get pregnant with him, and use the child to marry into the Stewart family. After Percival died, you would get everything from the Stewart family, wouldn’t you? So, the corpse oil from Thoeyae was given to you by Brandon, right?” Odalys continued.
She pressed closer, and Hannah kept backing away.

“You two stayed in a room all day. It seemed like you were being forced, but in reality, you both had your own needs, achieving each other’s goals. You get corpse oil from him. The corpse oil was burned from the body of his son because his son died outside the Bennett residence. Plus, the Bennett family has enough wicked energy. Once you use this corpse oil, you will be enchanted by it.” Odalys’ words hit Hannah’s heart like a hammer.

Hannah, exposed by her, said with a cold face, “Odalys, who do you think you are? How dare you talk nonsense here? Do you want to ruin me? Just like how you ruined Sophia?” She had barely finished speaking when a siren wailed outside.

Soon a police car pulled up, and several police officers walked in. Their faces lit up with surprise when they saw Brandon and Caspian buried in the mud, but they quickly turned to look at the Bennett family members standing outside.

“Who called the police?” A police officer asked.

Hannah’s confidence was bolstered by the arrival of the police. She quickly exclaimed, “Me! I called the police! You need to arrest Odalys immediately. She has gone crazy!”

“She committed violence. Not only did she beat people up, but she also buried people! She also committed slander and was trying to ruin my reputation! Even if she was my daughter, I do not want her going around hurting more people!” Hannah declared.

Hannah continued, each word fabricating a new lie, “She also pretended to practice magic previously and committed fraud on the Internet. I did not intend to expose her, but she really scared me today and even wanted to kill me. Please arrest her, quickly!”

When Hannah finished speaking, she noticed that the police had not moved. They merely looked at her indifferently before turning their attention to Odalys. “Aren’t you the woman who tried to set Mr. Evander Stewart up a few days ago?” A police officer suddenly asked Hannah. With just one sentence, Hannah’s confidence completely evaporated.

Hannah stood awkwardly and was about to say something, but the police officer looked at her coldly and said, “We have received word that you have been selling forbidden scents. Is that true?”

“Additionally, word is that you are plotting something. Do we have permission to search your room?” The police officer continued.

Hannah did not expect that the police would not arrest Odalys, but instead ask to search her room.

She had believed that the police would at least arrest Odalys.

Once Odalys was arrested, Hannah could set up a livestream to slander Odalys. But nothing had turned out the way she had imagined.

“No,” Hannah replied.

Chapter 657

However, the police officers ignored Hannah. It was obvious they had come prepared as they rushed into the Bennett villa. This startled Hannah as she hurriedly chased after them.

“Why are you just standing there? Hurry up and stop them,” Hannah ordered.

“You’re trespassing! I didn’t give you permission to enter my room.” Hannah panicked. She didn’t expect the police to completely ignore her and barge in.

Henry and Atlas stood there briefly dumbfounded before they came back to their senses and quickly followed behind the officers. They watched as the police accurately identified Hannah’s bedroom and broke down the door to her bedroom.

With a loud bang, a cabinet in the room collapsed and fell. Then, a body fell out of the collapsed cabinet.

The police officers were dumbfounded, as was Hannah. She stared at the body, confused that there was something like that in her room.

“Who is this?” Henry asked.

Atlas stared at the body and then tugged at Henry’s sleeve. “Henry, why is he wearing Caspian’s clothes?”
“Th-this.” Hannah was stunned.

A memory suddenly flooded into her mind and replayed itself vividly.

“That’s impossible. Caspian is still alive, isn’t he?” Hannah murmured.

The body was already desiccated, but from the clothes on the body, it was not difficult to tell that the boy was only about ten years old.

“Mrs. Bennett, do you have anything to say about the body hidden in your room?” The police officer asked.
Hannah’s lips moved, but no words came out. She watched the police officers carry the body out before she was escorted downstairs. =^= The moment the body was carried out, Brandon’ s face changed.

“How could there be a body in the house?” Caspian asked incredulously.

When his gaze fell on the corpse and landed on the familiar clothes, Caspian did a double-take in disbelief.
Caspian whipped his head around to Brandon sitting beside him, only to see the old man glaring fiercely at the corpse.

“Mrs. Bennett, someone tipped us off saying that Caspian is not your biological son and that your biological son died at age ten. Are you aware of this matter?” The police officer asked. Hannah was completely dumbfounded. She pointed to the corpse, then looked at Caspian.

“You’re spouting nonsense! My son is right here! Odalys broke his legs and buried him here. Officers, this body must be a coincidence. Odalys wanted to frame me, so she said that on purpose.” Hannah was frightened but would still do anything to get Odalys in trouble.

Odalys seemed to have expected this and ignored Hannah.

“Is that so? We examined the body and it appears the boy died from the pain of having his legs broken,” the police officer said.

Caspian froze when he heard about the broken leg.

He was buried in the mud and was uncomfortable, but he subconsciously looked at Odalys. Caspian had been observing her these days and found that everything she did was carefully thought out.

Odalys would never do anything useless. Everything she did had a reason and purpose.

Odalys had deliberately let Percival break Caspian’s leg, which mimicked the corpse’s broken leg. The clothes on the corpse were also the same as what Caspian had worn as a child.

Caspian turned his attention back to Brandon. Just then, the police officer said, “Please cooperate and do a paternity test!”

Without waiting for Hannah to refuse, the police took a sample of her hair and blood, and also retrieved samples from Caspian, and the corpse to send for testing.

“Mom, what’s going on? Why was there a body in your room?” Henry asked.

Hannah stood still, her eyes fixed on the body.

“The clothes on the corpse are the same as Caspian’s when he was young. Each of us only had one set of clothes. Why does the corpse have one too?” Atlas asked weakly.

Atlas had a headache. Too many things have happened in the Bennett family recently. Everything was too messy.
“Don’t ask me. I don’t know anything! It’s just a dead body. Who knows who put it in my room? With so many things happening and so many people going in and out. Anybody could have done this!” Hannah roared, her emotions pushing her to the edge.

She looked at Caspian, whose heart sank. Thinking of what Brandon had said to him, Caspian struggled to get up, but his legs were broken and he could not move at all. He was completely drained of his strength.

“Were you the one who called the police?” Percival took half a step back and stood shoulder to shoulder with Odalys as he looked down at her.

Odalys blinked at him. “Who else could have done it?”

“You knew that I would break his legs?” Percival continued to ask.

Odalys smiled without responding.

“If I’m not mistaken, this corpse might be the real second young master of the Bennett family. After he had his legs broken and died from the pain, Caspian took his place,” Percival started.

Percival speculated, “Judging by the corpse’s age, this happened about ten years ago! It seems that the second young master of the Bennett family died the same year you were abandoned.”

The results of the test were not yet available, and it was unknown how long the corpse had been dead. However, Percival had a hunch that the corpse had died the same year Odalys was abandoned.

“I didn’t expect you to expose Caspian’s identity so quickly,” Percival said. He had thought Odalys would wait a little longer, yet she had done it so quickly.

“I didn’t want to expose him so soon, but he tried to hurt us! If he hadn’t come to the hospital today, and trapped me in the junction of energy, I wouldn’t have done anything against him,” Odalys defended.

She continued, “These people are too arrogant. They are willing to hurt others for their own benefit. It’s evil, and I don’t want to tolerate it anymore.”

Odalys had let Brandon get away with his antics for too long.

Brandon had mistakenly thought that since Odalys had not done anything to him since he hid in the Bennett Villa, everything was fine.

However, Brandon underestimated her. He thought that he could control Odalys, but did not know that Odalys hated being manipulated the most.

“Back then, you said that Windsor had recovered, but he was beaten back to his original form by Brandon. Do you suspect Brandon?” Percival seemed to have thought of something, and couldn’t help but ask.

“Now there are two shadows on Windsor. One of them is on Caspian, and the other is on Atlas. I gave Brandon a whole day, but he did not do anything to drive the shadow on Caspian away,” Odalys started.

She continued, “There are only two possibilities for this behavior. One, he does not know where Windsor is, and the distance makes it difficult to drive the shadow back to Windsor. Two, he is trying to take advantage of the situation.”

“No matter which one it is, I can’t let him get his way. Now that the secret of Caspian’s birth has been revealed. We’ll see if Brandon is Caspian’s blood relative from the paternity test,” Odalys declared.

“If Brandon is, then he has something to do with the incident that occurred in the Bennett family back then. The Bennett family tree has been intentionally hidden. I can’t see it at all,” Odalys concluded.

Chapter 658

While Odalys and Percival were talking, Brandon remained silent and stared at the crowd.

“Mom, say something! Who is that corpse? Why was it hidden in your room? Why was he wearing Caspian’s clothes? If that is Caspian, then who is this?” Atlas was shocked as he shook Hannah and demanded an answer.
Henry was older than him and had a calmer demeanor in comparison.

He turned to look at Odalys thoughtfully as if he had guessed that she must have been the one who orchestrated all this.

‘Odalys was the one who brought Caspian back to be buried alive, and Percival was the one who dealt with Brandon. Although Hannah was the one who called the police, when the police arrived, they ignored Hannah and directly broke into the room. This means they must have known there was a body in the room,’ Henry reasoned to himself.

Besides Odalys, Henry was sure no one else could know that there was something in the room. Moreover, Odalys was holding the forbidden scent in her hand and claiming it belonged to Hannah.

“What’s going on?” Unable to contain himself any longer, Henry stepped forward and asked.

Odalys ignored him and stood quietly, her gaze sweeping over Brandon.

Henry wanted to ask more, but Percival’s dark eyes turned to him and caused Henry to swallow his words.
Soon the police got the results.

“The forensic results are out,” the policeman said. Hannah stood there in a panic.

She squeezed out a smile and said to the policeman, her voice quivering, “Officer, I only called the police to report Odalys for beating people up and making trouble in the Bennett family. These forensic results are a private matter for the Bennett family.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she met the policeman’s cold eyes.

Hannah stood still. As a rich man’s wife, she was naturally arrogant, but in the face of the policeman’s probing eyes, she felt a little timid. In the past, she would not be so fearful.

“The body was found in your room, Mrs. Bennett, and you’re telling me this is a private matter?” The police officer rebutted.

“Furthermore, the test results confirm that this body is your biological son. Caspian is not your child,” the police officer reported.

“Mrs. Bennett, did you kill your biological son and replace him with someone else’s child?” The police officer continued to question Hannah.

Hannah’s mind went blank. She momentarily stared at the test results in disbelief before she rushed forward and snatched them.

Looking at the results, she turned to look at Caspian, then at Brandon, before she asked in disbelief, “What’s going on? Why is Caspian related to you?”

Hannah’s eyes were red with anger.

Brandon slowly raised his head, a strange smile on his face.

“Why do you think?” Brandon asked with a maniacal laugh.

He suddenly shot up from the ground, his body emerging from the mud. He leaped up and did a flip over to Caspian before he pulled Caspian out of the mud.

“Ah!” Caspian cried out in pain as Brandon yanked him hard.

Brandon ignored the scream of pain and pulled Caspian close. He took out a talisman and threw it at the crowd. He turned around and was about to rush out, but the talisman, which was about to explode, was caught by Odalys.

“Ah.” Brandon was startled as he watched Odalys catch the talisman and throw it back at him.
Brandon’s eyes widened. He was hit by the talisman, and his body was blown almost two feet away from the impact. When he fell heavily to the ground, he landed on Caspian.

“Cough, cough.” Brandon looked at Odalys Stone in disbelief.

He didn’t expect that Odalys had become so much more powerful after just one night that she could catch the talisman he threw with her bare hands.

Brandon fell to the ground, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. He struggled to get up and saw that Caspian’s face was ashen.

Caspian stared at Brandon with gritted teeth and asked, “What do you mean? I’m related to you? Who are you?”

“No, impossible, my last name is Bennett! I am the second master of the Bennett family! I have nothing to do with an old thing like you.” Caspian yelled agitatedly.

As long as he stayed in the Bennett family, he was their young master. Even if the Bennett family is bankrupt now, it used to be a wealthy family. But if he got involved with Brandon, he would be nothing and might even become Odalys’s enemy, which he was naturally unwilling to be.

“You disgusting old thing, how dare you talk nonsense? Do you want to die? You must have killed him. Are you trying to frame my mother?”

Caspian exploded.

“Police officer, Brandon must have killed him. He has been forcibly occupying my mother’s room recently. No one knows what he’s been doing. He doesn’t ever leave the house, so he must have hidden the body in the room.” Caspian declared brokenly.

The police remained calm.

Meanwhile, the forensics doctor examined the body and quickly concluded, “The deceased died about 15 years ago. Both legs were broken, and the cause of death was excessive blood loss. The body was wrapped in plastic wrap, so there was no odor.”

“There was stuff placed inside the plastic wrap that could also have absorbed the odor from the body,” the forensic doctor continued.

Hearing again that the body had its legs broken, Caspian subconsciously looked at his legs.

“Ugh,” Odalys suddenly grunted.

She frowned and quickly reached into her bag. The ring, which had been silent, was now glowing red. She quickly put it on.

The second she put it on, she could feel a surge of resentment emanating from the ring.

The ring belonged to the young general from Film Capital. After Odalys helped him move on, his three souls remained within this ring. The ring has been silent since the last incident.

Odalys did not expect it to react now.

“A reaction?” Percival asked urgently as he watched Odalys with her gaze fixed on the ring in her hand.
Odalys nodded, feeling the ring guide her forward. She stopped in front of Caspian.

In the next second, the ring flew out of her hand and crashed into Caspian with a bang.

“Ah!” Caspian cried out in pain as he was unexpectedly struck.

He felt his body being inexplicably controlled, as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping his neck, trying to strangle him. Caspian struggled relentlessly.

“What’s going on?” The police officers, unaware of the situation, rushed forward.

However, Odalys stepped forward and stopped them. “Don’t go over,” she instructed.

The police officers stopped in their tracks. They knew Odalys. Their superiors had instructed them that even though she was not officially on the force, she had helped them solve many cases behind the scenes. Officer Lee, in particular, had many cases with Odalys’s involvement.

Therefore, everyone had tacitly accepted her as one of their own.

In addition to the superiors’ regard for Odalys and Officer Lee’s respect for her, the many people she had saved in the past few days had caused her good reputation to be widely known. Although the police didn’t understand the situation, they subconsciously listened to her. “Why is this happening?” Brandon stared at Caspian.

Chapter 659

Caspian was like a madman. He kept trying to get up, but it was as if something was hitting him, knocking him to the ground. “Ugh!” A mouthful of blood spurted out.

“Odalys, are you trying to kill him? No matter what, he was still your brother for many years!” Hannah rushed forward, her heart aching.

Before she could touch Odalys, Percival stopped her.

“It seems that you are more distressed. After all, he was the one you raised, wasn’t he? But the body lying on the ground is your biological son, Hannah.” Odalys looked at Hannah with disdain. The identification results had come out just now, but Hannah did not even spare a glance at the body on the ground.

“That dead body is not my son. Caspian is my son,” Hannah said frantically.

Caspian lay on the ground in pain, blood oozing from the corner of his mouth. He rolled on the ground in pain.

It felt like his internal organs had all exploded. The pain was excruciating like someone was scraping his flesh off with a blade. Caspian screamed in pain.

“You are the police! Why aren’t you doing anything?” Hannah roared frantically.

The police stood there, looked at each other, and all looked at Odalys.

No matter how stupid Hannah was, she understood that these policemen had a grudge against the Bennett family, and they all listened to Odalys. Yet, she could not figure out why the police would listen to Odalys.
“Odalys, that’s enough.” Brandon’s hands were shaking as he warned.

He didn’t expect Odalys to discover his deeply hidden secret.

Watching Caspian writhing in pain, Brandon seemed to have realized something. He quickly got onto his knees in front of Odalys and begged, “Please let him go, he is still young, please. I beg you to please let him go.”

Odalys stood there indifferently, watching Brandon’s painful and nervous look, the corners of her mouth twitched.

“Back then you deliberately lured Rafael to meet Edie. When you went to Film Capital to make trouble by teasing Freya, when you tried to harm Freya, why did the fact that she was young not cross your mind?” Odalys asked coldly.

At this time, everyone understood.

Odalys was here to settle a score, and she was doing it for Freya.

“Rafael died tragically in Film Capital after that, there’s no way you did not know about this, am I right?” Odalys questioned.

She stepped forward and stood in front of Brandon condescendingly.

Odalys taunted, “Do you really believe that I brought you to Crownridge to let you do whatever you want? Did you think that I let you escape here and hide in the Bennett Villa because I was afraid of you?”

“Don’t you know how many people you’ve harmed by using your tailor shop’s brand name to get close to many wealthy wives? Did you really think you could escape from everyone’s suspicions just by closing down your shop and hiding in the village?” Odalys continued to question.

“That dress that Edie hid in the family’s lotus pond after what happened to that member of the Stewart family. You definitely have

something to do with it, don’t you?” Odalys said with a low chuckle.

Brandon’s face turned a shade paler with every word Odalys uttered.

“You!” Brandon’s turbid eyes widened, staring at Odalys.

Odalys was young, but there was no mistaking the murderous intent in her eyes as she stared straight at Brandon.

“Breaking Caspian’s leg today was just an eye for an eye. Why are you so worked up? What Caspian is experiencing now is not even a fraction of what the real Caspian suffered back then,” Odalys said lightly.

Hannah listened as she slumped to the ground.

“After breaking the real Caspian’s leg and letting him die of pain, he was switched out with this Caspian. You knew about this, didn’t you, Hannah?” Odalys accused.

“But you have many sons. It did not matter if one dies, right?” Odalys questioned sarcastically. Hannah kept shaking her head. She murmured in a low voice, “You’re spouting nonsense, I don’t know anything.”
“Caspian is my son!” Hannah declared, her voice a painful roar.

She stared intently at Odalys, her eyes were filled with a murderous intent that threatened to spill over. Pointing at Odalys, she yelled, “It’s all your fault, you jinx! It’s all because of you. If it weren’t for you, the Bennett family wouldn’t be like this!”

“You are a curse, you are a jinx, you have cursed the Bennett family to this state. Because of you, the entire Bennett family has been extremely unlucky. You want to kill us all, don’t you? That person must have died because of you. It’s all because of you!” As Hannah spoke, she burst into tears.
Painful memories from the past seemed to rush towards Hannah like a flood.

Hannah clutched her head in agony. She shook her head and muttered, “It’s not true, it must be fake. Impossible, Caspian is my son. This dead person is not my son.”

Hannah kept trying to avoid something, but the images in her mind became increasingly clear. Hannah’s face contorted in agony as she lay sprawled on the ground. Seeing Caspian in such pain, she rushed forward, only to be flung aside by Caspian’s hand.

“Odalys, please! This has nothing to do with me! Let me go, I beg you!” Caspian pleaded desperately, struggling to crawl towards Odalys like a wounded animal.

Ignoring him, Odalys kept her gaze fixed on Brandon. Brandon watched in horror as blood trickled from the corner of Caspian’s lips. Taking half a step back, Odalys turned to Percival and said, “Remember that night when Oliver tried to force Brandon’s ancestor’s soul into Francis’s body? He intended to use Francis’s body as a vessel for Brandon’s ancestor’s soul. He wanted to replace Francis.”

“The entity clinging to Caspian is another fragment of Brandon’s ancestor’s soul. It’s desperately clinging onto Caspian, clearly unwilling to return to Windsor’s body, and is seeking a new host. If it succeeds, Caspian will die,” Odalys said gravely.

Brandon was stunned. He looked at Odalys, then back at Caspian.

“You have a choice to make. You can either save the fragment of your ancestor’s soul or save Caspian. Caspian might be easier to control, considering his youth and blood ties. Your ancestor, on the other hand, is a different story,” Odalys continued, now directed to Brandon.

“You would have to listen to him then. If your ancestor does not succeed. He might be able to return to Windsor’s body. You win either way,” Odalys said.

A chill went down the spines of those listening in. Atlas and Henry both subconsciously took half a step back, afraid that they would be haunted by ghosts.

“So, who will you choose?” Odalys asked, tilting her head.

Caspian fell to the ground. He felt as if his internal organs had been crushed. Yet, he kept his eyes fixed on Brandon and thought of what Brandon had said when he pulled Caspian into the room this morning.
“You’ve been scheming against me since this morning, haven’t you?” Caspian asked with difficulty.

Chapter 660

No matter how foolish, Caspian could tell that something was wrong.

When he ran into Odalys at the hospital that morning and said he wanted to talk to her, Odalys had stared at him with strange eyes. The meaningful look was still replaying in his mind.

At that time, he just wondered why Odalys was staring at him.

Looking back, perhaps she had already guessed it, which was why she was so decisive in having Percival break his leg.

“Why are you so angry? Do you want to see what you did back then?” Odalys suddenly asked Caspian in a cold voice.

Her words instantly silenced the scene.

The police officers were also a little restless. “What do you mean?” Caspian asked with a muffled groan of pain.

He really didn’t understand what Odalys was up to, but he didn’t want to fall into the trap she was digging, nor did he dare to. With so many people present, it was impossible for him to do anything now.

“I was asking if you wanted to see what you did 15 years ago.” Odalys’s voice turned icy cold.

Her words made Hannah wary.

“What, you want me to pull up the surveillance footage from 15 years ago? Let me tell you, my family didn’t have surveillance cameras 15 years ago.” Hannah said sarcastically through gritted teeth.

She looked at Odalys as if she were an idiot. Hannah was sure that no one kept surveillance footage for more than ten years. Most people would not even keep it for a few months. “You do not have surveillance, but I do,” Odalys said with a smile, but her smile could not conceal the iciness in her eyes.

Odalys’s light laughter made everyone hold their breath as a chill ran down their spines.
“You do?” Hannah responded after a long pause.

The other police officers looked at each other, seeming to guess something.

They had heard from the young police officer under Officer Lee that Odalys could restore everything that had happened. However, this news was only spread internally, and no one dared to talk about it. Now that they had heard Odalys talk about it, the police officers were all excited.

They were so curious about what it meant to reproduce the past, in a manner so clear that everyone could see it. They had always wanted to see it, but they were not familiar with Odalys.

Such an opportunity was rare, so they all held their breath, stood up straight, and lined up behind Odalys.

Everyone was stunned, except for Brandon, whose eyes were deep in thought.
“Are you trying to frame me?” Caspian asked.

Just as he finished speaking, Odalys strode forward and pricked his hand with something sharp. She then flicked a few drops of his blood into the air and tossed out a talisman.

With a loud boom, the sky turned pitch black. Dark clouds gathered, enveloping the entire villa. “Ugh,” a muffled groan broke the silence.

Like a movie playing out in midair, the Bennett Villa appeared, and the muffled groan echoed. Keylor was spotted with his hand clamped tightly over a young boy’s mouth and nose as he dragged the boy out by force.
The young boy was wearing the same clothes as the corpse from earlier.

After Keylor dragged the young boy out, a handkerchief that was clearly soaked in some kind of anesthetic was tied over the young boy’s mouth and nose. The young boy visibly inhaled quite a bit of anesthetic and instantly collapsed on the ground once he was dragged out.

“If you just sell him like that, what do we do if the truth gets out?” A young voice asked. Keylor pondered for a moment.

“What do you mean?” Keylor asked.

A fierce look crossed the teenager’s face. Staring at the young boy on the ground, he suggested, “Let’s break his legs and bury his lower body in the mud. I heard that if your body can’t breathe, you’ll suffocate and dehydrate slowly.”

“When he’s on his last breath, we’ll bury him in the wall, wrapped up tight. That way, there won’t be any smell. Otherwise, we could go to jail if the police find out. Nothing stays hidden forever. Only the dead can keep secrets,” the teenager said.

Keylor listened silently. However, the teenager had already gone to find some tools, dug a hole, and buried the young boy.

The young boy had fainted from the pain of having his legs broken. When he regained consciousness, half of his body was buried, and he saw the teenager turning around to pee on him.

As the urine splashed onto his face, the young boy struggled and cried out for help.

“Trying yelling at me again! I’ve already broken your leg; do you think I won’t dare to take your pathetic life? Don’t worry. You won’t be worth anything in a while,” the teenager said before he smashed the young boy’s head with an iron shovel.

Blood oozed from the young boy’s head and dripped into the mud, disappearing into it.

The young boy struggled after being knocked unconscious, but someone grabbed his neck, choked him unconscious, wrapped him in plastic wrap, and carried him into the Bennett Villa.
At this moment, Hannah unexpectedly returned from being out.

She had planned to go abroad to relax but returned alone after arguing with Windsor midway through the trip.
She did not expect to see this scene. Covering her mouth, she stood in the shadows, her eyes wide with fear, not daring to make a sound. Even after the teenager and Keylor had taken care of everything, Hannah did not call the police.

She just hid in the shadows, watching everything with wide eyes.

“Should I call the police? No way. What if they come back for revenge? Anyway, I already have two sons. It’s not a big deal to lose one,” Hannah murmured under her breath.

Everyone turned to look at her in disbelief. They couldn’t believe that Hannah was so selfish that she didn’t even care about her son’s death.

Hannah also slumped to the ground, staring at the scenes in the air. They vaguely felt familiar, like something that had happened before, but she could not seem to remember.

“Impossible, I’m not that kind of person,” Hannah still wanted to argue.

Everyone ignored her and turned their eyes back to the scene in midair.

Just then, they saw Keylor and the teenager come out and stand outside the Bennett Villa. Keylor turned his head, stared at the Bennett Villa, and said, “From now on, you are the second young master of the Bennett family.”

The teenager listened with a disdainful look on his face.

“What’s so great about being the second young master of the Bennett family? Just a down-and- out,” the teenager complained.

Keylor didn’t say anything more, took out a talisman and threw it into the air, the talisman hit the teenager’s body, and when the teenager fell to the ground, he vomited blood.
As he vomited blood, his face became paler and bloodless.

Keylor left without looking back. Hannah, who was hiding in the dark, had witnessed this scene. She came out of the darkness, stood in front of the teenager, and heard him say, “I am your son.” “No, you’re not.” Hannah shook her head quickly. The teenager looked at her indifferently, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and said, “If you don’t want to die, I am. If you want to die, I can choose not to be.”

Hannah fell silent at the threat.

Later, the teenager was sent abroad to study and it was as if this matter never happened. Hannah stared blankly as if she had never seen this before. Then, the screen stopped.

“Fuck,” a police officer cursed immediately.

I am a simple girl with a deep brown hair, and a brown eyes. As I grew up I was the laughing-stock of my cousins and playmates by teasing me "Negra" because I am not blessed with fair skin. Those memories just makes me "Smile" everytime I remember it, although I still have a dark skin but I love "Myself" Nakkkssss!!! I grew up in Castilla, Sorsogon, loved my elementary and high school but enjoyed most of my college days. Aside from my work I have other or rather many interest. I love adventure, learning new languages and it's culture, animals, natures, being out in the woods, in the mountains, long walks on the beach, in the rural areas, and i'm at home in the city as well. I'm a music enthusiast (any genre depend on my mood), a foodie, a portrait fanatic, and a movie buff. :) I can know a little bit about everything but I cannot master of anything. Personality wise, I think I am 30-50% good natured, 40 % charming, 15% sarcastic, 10% evil, 40% funny, 25% naugthy ;) :P, hmmm what else? ;) If you have a banner or Link Ads, an Articles, feel free to Email Me!
