Chapter 131

Henry did not take her words seriously. He was blinded by money and thus was not aware that danger was approaching him.

He could only imagine what she would dare to do to Whitney when nobody was around them.

“Whitney, let’s go. We can’t stay any longer. If all of you want to take back our last name, just do it.”

He ignored Whitney’s gaze and carried her before walking out the door.

Jessica said to the two who were leaving, “Good luck, both of you.

Hope you both won’t beg to come back in two days.”

Heart-wrenching!

What she said was too heart-wrenching.

Zachary could only speed up and promised himself to never step into the Larson residence again.

Without the energy to resist, Whitney could only leave with him.

After a while, they heard the sound of a car engine roaring outside the house. Jessica clicked her tongue. I thought he was determined to uphold his integrity.

She then turned to James and said, “If you want him to return home earlier, then terminate all his bank cards right now.”

Although James was infuriated, he loved his son dearly.

“Jess, you’re too much,” James scolded unhappily.

“Is it too much? That’s because you’ve been too kind to him. The business world is like a battlefield. He’s too timid, and easily provoked by others’ words. He nodded and took out his phone before calling his secretary to terminate Zachary’s bank cards.

They were all injured, but not as severe as Whitney.

The three women’s bank cards were also terminated by their family members and were strictly forbidden to contact Whitney.

Just when Zachary thought that they were safe in his friend’s house, he was completely wrong.

Upon returning to her room, Jessica called Richard’s phone. “Mr. Salvatore, I need your help.”

“What is it?”

He wondered, What happened in such a short time? Did James mess with her?

“Can you find a way to spread the news that my father is planning to change the heir of his business? And also, the adopted children of the Larson family were abandoned by my father,” Jessica said calmly.

Richard raised his eyebrow. “Sure.”

After hanging up the call, Richard made three other calls.

Jack just got back from the filming site. “Mr. Salvatore, did you send the present? Is the little girl happy?”

Richard smiled and replied, “Don’t worry. The little girl whom you have your eyes on is really smart. She can settle everything without my help.”

“What do you mean I have my eyes on her? I treat her like a younger sister.”

He felt a special affinity for Jessica. It made him want to get closer to her.

Richard did not believe him, but he did not expose it. “Right. Mr. Young seems to be interested in the little girl. If you like her, you need to take action soon. Otherwise, the early bird catches the worm.”
